FBM KLCI futures extends gain at midday
KUALA LUMPUR, July 3 — The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives extended its gains midday in line with advances in regional equities markets, dealers said.
July 2012 rose 9.50 points to 1,613.50, August 2012 aand Sept 2012 added nine points each to 1,614 and 1,612.50 while December 2012 perked seven points to 1,605.
Turnover stood at 2,891 lots while open interest amounted to 31,803 contracts.
The underlying FBM KLCI ended the morning session 5.63 points higher at 1,606.48. — Bernama
