KLCI futures mostly lower at mid-day on easier cash market

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 22 – The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives were traded mostly lower at mid-day on Tuesday in tandem with the easier cash market, dealers said.

January 2013 eased 0.5 of a point to 1,624, March 2013 fell five points to 1,618.5, June 2013 lost seven points to 1,626, while February 2013 was flat at 1,623.

Turnover stood at 11,869 lots while open interest stood at 43,838 contracts.

The underlying FBM KLCI was down 12.5 points to 1,623.13. – Bernama
