KLCI futures open slightly higher in early trading
KUALA LUMPUR, June 13 — The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opened slightly higher in the early trading Wednesday as investors took the cue from the positive cash market, dealers said.
At 9.35 am, June 2012 edged up 2.5 points to 1,577, July 2012 improved 3.5 points to 1,578.5 while September 2012 and December 2012 rose three points each to 1,574 and 1,568, respectively.
Turnover was 1,075 lots while open interest stood at 27,590 contracts.
The underlying FBM KLCI rose 3.65 points to 1,579.72 after 35 minutes of trading. — Bernama
