Maybank’s indirect unit disposes of 430,000 shares in ATR KimEng AMG Holdings

Maybank ATR Kim Eng (MATRKE) Capital Partners Inc, an indirect subsidiary of Maybank through Maybank Kim Eng Holdings Ltd, has disposed of 430,000 shares it owned in ATR KimEng AMG Holdings Inc, representing 82.69% ownership, to ATRAM Investment Management Partners Corp.

ATRAM Investment is 35% owned by MATRKE Capital.

"Effective yesterday, ATRKE AMG and ATRAM cease to be indirect subsidiaries of Maybank, although MATRKE Capital continues to own 35% of ATRAM Investments," Maybank said in a filing to Bursa Malaysia today.

Maybank said the disposal of the shares will not have any effect on the share capital of Maybank and substantial shareholders’ shareholdings in Maybank and not have any material effect on the consolidated earnings and net assets of Maybank for the financial year ending December 31, 2013.

"None of the directors and substantial shareholders of Maybank and/or persons connected to them have any interest, direct or indirect, in the disposal," it said. – Bernama, December 19, 2013.
