PPB unit gets RM156.6m contract from Hap Seng

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 22 – Putrajaya Perdana Bhd’s (PPB) unit, Putra Perdana Construction Sdn Bhd, has been awarded a RM156.6 million contract to build a 27-storey service apartment in Jalan Tun Razak here.

In a statement, PPB said the project was awarded by Hap Seng Land Development Sdn Bhd.

“The project consists of 335 units of service apartment, car parks and a common facilities floor which will be completed in December 2014,” it said.

PPB executive chairman Datuk Rosman Abdullah said the company was honoured to be awarded with this project mainly due to its proven track record and ability to deliver quality products as scheduled.

“The company is also confident to achieve Singapore’s Building and Construction Association’s CONQUAS standards required by our client,” he said.

PPB is an investment holding company. The group has to date secured over RM9.5 billion worth of projects with 43 per cent of them contracted on design-and-build basis.

Its current outstanding order book stands in access of RM1 billion. – Bernama
