SapuraKencana to bid for RM12b jobs by year-end

KUALA LUMPUR, May 16 — SapuraKencana Petroleum Bhd expects to grow its bidding order to RM12 billion by year-end from the current RM7 billion.

President and Group Chief Executive Officer Datuk Seri Shahril Shamsuddin said the RM7 billion worth of bids made currently are 50 per cent for local projects and the remaining for projects in Australia and Brazil.

Presently, its order book stands at about RM13.5 billion, he told reporters after launching the company's prospectus and new corporate logo today. Shahril said the bidding success rate was about 30 to 45 per cent.

En route to listing on the Bursa Malaysia Main Market tomorrow, about five billion shares will be floated at RM2 per share issue price. — Bernama
