Bring on Auto China, and the Mille Miglia
BEIJING, April 14 — The world’s largest motor market kicks off a month of displays and activity that finishes with an endurance race on the other side of the globe.

These prestigious awards highlight the best of China’s up-and-coming automotive design talent, offering a valuable insight into the way Chinese-led design is changing tastes both at home and overseas.
Almost simultaneously, Auto China will open in Beijing to the trade two days later, running to May 2.
Auto China is now among the most important motor shows on the planet. Expect most of the world’s major manufacturers to be there with new or customised products designed for the world’s largest automotive market, as well as some home-grown brands that could soon be landing internationally.
The world’s makers join their Chinese peers in trying to woo the world’s largest automotive market at this event, one of the largest on the year’s calendar.
Auto China opens to the public on April 27.
London’s low-carbon motoring show EcoVelocity opens from May 5-10.
It returns for its second year in early May, offering the public a chance to examine and drive some of the world’s most advanced vehicles.
The following week, the Mille Miglia runs from May 17-20 from Brescia to Rome and back to Brescia.
The Mille Miglia, widely regarded as one of the finest endurance races in the world, attracts enthusiasts keen to compete through tracts of Italian countryside, with stops in some of the country’s finest towns and cities.
Look out for time trials, spectator events and parades along the route, along with new cities Ferrara and Ravenna, and the new legs of Vicenza and Padua. — Relaxnews
