Toyota’s new Auris models to premiere at Paris Motor Show
The second generation Toyota Auris. — Afp picPARIS, Sept 16 — Toyota is slotted to publicly unveil the second-generation Auris at the Paris Moter Show, with a lineup encompassing a sedan and Touring Sports version, with three types of engines available (petrol, diesel, and Full Hybrid).
The new Auris will be lighter than ever, with an altered chassis and improved aerodynamics to improve handling and fuel efficiency.
The new models will launch in 2013, with a choice of engines ranging from Full Hybrid to diesel (1.4l and 2.0l) and petrol (1.33l and 1.6l). Toyota’s new signature LED headlights will grace the front of the car.
Available in the first quarter of 2013 The second generation of Toyota Auris, destined for Japan and Europe will be on display at the upcoming Paris Motor Show, from September 29 to October 14.
Toyota’s exhibit will also display the Verso 2013, the new Yaris Trend and the Yaris Hybrid, the FCV-R (which runs on a fuel cell battery), the “Prius Rechargeable” and the driving simulator Toyota GT86.
The TS030 Hybrid, which competed in the latest edition of the 24 hours of Le Mans, will also be on diplay. Toyota claims to have sold more than 4.3 million units of its Full Hybrid vehicles since the launch of the first Prius in 1997. — Afp-Relaxnews
