Just like he said, he bribe the kampung folks with a bungkus of nasi lemak and a bungkus of teh tarik at every election. This old man is mad.

Understood why Dr M got this feeling because our Abdullah is well know always issue round-about turn statements (pusing-pusing and no ending) and langsung tak ada ingat terkejut rakyat TETAPI untuk Muhyiddin punya just a U-turn statement sudah terkejut Abdullah... ini lah good attitude buat rakyat voted against BN on Mar 08, lah....

I suppose Dr. M does not realise that whatever he is suggesting about the 'culture' in UMNO is not something that is new in UMNO. I hope he has not forgotten that it is a wonderful culture which he had nurtured amongst our greatest leaders in UMNO or maybe, "I can't recall!", "I'm not sure!", "I can't remember correctly!", or better still "That's within my perogative as the PM then, I am not obliged to answer!" LOL

UMNO must and should limit the number of years or terms that their members hold office including the Prime Minister 's post. Tun Mahathir stayed too long that he is so used to be in power, that now ,he feels impotent without it. Pak Lah has to go la.In this trying economic times, Malaysia needs someone who understand the situation and takes action, rather than someone who 'sleeps' through it. The price for the rakyat is too high pay

We believed that we should let our PM complete his important mission ie. revising the ACA ... etc before he leave office in march 2009, What we don't understand were why our exPM is like in a "hurry to push him out of office". it is only another 4 months away. What is the difference if he go earlier or 4 months later.
It will be better for him to finish his job before to go and gain some trust from the public for the thing he wanted to do.

I thought i could respect Tun M, but looking at his onslaught again i bet to differ. I guess he is to blame the most for UMNO's woes after all he was at the helm for 22 years. If he could not change UMNO for that long period and citing that UMNO's members are corrupt now is a big slap on his own face.

I think Tun is getting out of hand. In this economic condition, as a former leader he should be coming out with ideas how to further improve our economy. The way he expressed himself, he seems to be not happy with whatever decision UMNO has done. If he is a true leader who loves the country and its people, do you think he will made such remarks or is he having some hidden agenda for himself. As a rakyat I think we are really sick and tired with this type of politics - enough is enough. Now is the time for us to think about the society and solution on how to overcome the uncertainity in the economic of the country. Come on Tun, we want to remember you as a leader and don't want to come to a situation whereby the rakyat will think otherwise. You know what Stephen Covey told - " To live, to love and leave a legacy" I hope you will do so - to enable the rakyat to think the good things you have done for the country and its people. We can't go on having controversial statement now and then - or is it your style of managing people. Only the rakyat will know in the near future why all this things are coming out everynow and then.............

Unless there is a governal take over by Pakatan Rakyat, Badawi is still the best candidate for PM amongst all the devils in UMNO.

Actually, I wouldn't mind that at all. Whatever you say about the man, Pak Lah has his heart in the right place which is more than I can say for Mahathir and Najib. Many Malaysians - the silent majority - are sad to see Pak Lah go. He has been the victim of circumstances, a sluggish world economy, high oil prices, fellow Cabinet members and UMNO leaders resistant to reforms, and the growing pains of a more open Malaysia where sensitive issues were discussed openly for the first time.
Many Malaysians feel Pak Lah should be given more time. Don't forget, notwithstanding a reduced majority, the mandate to govern is still his as the leader of BN at the last elections.
Mahathir has done much good for Malaysia but he has also done a lot of damage. Lately, he has almost single-handedly destroyed Pak Lah's career. And this was all because of a personal grudge after Pak Lah postponed the double-tracking project which Mahathir awarded to a favoured crony and the cancelation of the crooked bridge which was also awarded to a consortium with close links to Mahathir and his family. That was what this whole spat was about.
I just pray that Malaysians will be fair when they judge this part of our country's history and may Mahathirsim never return in the guise of Najib, Muhyiddin or that idiot scion, Mukhriz.

Money politics in UMNO started during Mahathir's time. This is the cold, hard reality of history. Mahathir must not deny and pass the buck to his successor. Melayu kata bertaubatlah... He must repent. Sure many Melayu mudah lupa and now treat him like a demi-god. But many Melayu and Malaysians masih lagi ingat that corruption, nepotism, cronyism, rasuah, abuse of power - all of this started during Mahathir's time because he practiced it and condoned it.

Why doesnt Badawi lodge a police report against TDM for accusing him of bribery and corruption?

Look at this man, in his late years he is still hungry for power. Due to his blindness by power he is losing his sense in talking. What a pity, poor old man.

Every day passes by with some shadow and some substance being spun out in cyber space since earth-space has no space for recalcitarnt beings. The print media has lost its readership and not knowing what hits them. No Malaysiakini, Malaysian Insider and Malaysia Today have taken over the space; and bloggers spend time in space than on good mother Earth!

What has happened? You see shadows on Earth and Substance in outer space!

On Earth, we are fighting shadows and are afraid of shadows. Take one, example. The ex-defact Law Minister, Datuk Zaid Ibrahim, principled as he has always been, was found in brought day light with DAP in Penang and PKR in Selangor! His mere attendance raised eye-brows and sent sweat down the spines of UMNO leaders. Even his mere shadow among like-minded people in Pakatan Rakyat would send their shivers! Why are they afraid of the shadows? His conduct merited an UMNe Supreme Council meeting and an immediate expulsion from UMNO. Note that sacking him does not make hima mouse; he willo speak out; and now that he is freed from the shackcles of UMNO politics, he would speak louder and clearer; and UMNO could do nothing about it! Now he will talk more Substance and UMNO's shadow will not make a dent on his couarge to speak up and speak out. UMNO, by sacking him, has made him an enemy of him. UMNO deos not need enemies but friends, friends aplenty.

Then, there was the outpoken ex-Health Minister who spoke up about Malay Supremacy. Even speaking about it sent shivers down the spines of some UMNO leaders could not take it lightly, now that Party elections would decide the fates of many, the Police had come into action at once! Now, look at UMNO Penang leader who dubebd the Chinese as " squatters" and nothing happened! Wheer are the efficient Police? And when someUMNO members who could stand losing Penang to Pakatan Rakyat , they venetd theri anger against the mild-mannered Dr. Koh Tsu Koon, tearing his photo and stomping on it. Wheer were the so-called "efficient" Police? You could not even see the shadow, when a matter of sunstance was ravaged! And where is the Home Minister? Not even a shadow of him!

But, when the Sin Chew Reporter wrote in the newspaper, she was hauled and locked up, presumably fro her "safety". a laugable excuse.

And now, even the PM said that " we do not practise double standards" . Indeed you don't; you practise triple standards! One satndard for UMNO, who could do no wrong . Another standard for Non-UMNO BN Parties; and a third standard fro Non-BN leaders and bloggers and wriiters.

Look at Parlaimentary sittings. One sued "bastard" and it was accepatble. Suppose, an Opposition were to say it, what would have happened? Suspension, no question asked! A Minisetr said that the Judges were not sacked since they were given pension! But he made a mistake! What happened ? Nothing!!

But, two Oppsotion MPs were sent off!

KarpAL sINGH WAS ALSO SENT OFF ON THE ISSUE OF OATH-TAKING! And who was the one who asked for a pound of flesh. Any layman would say that in oath-taking, you have to raise your right hand!!! Ask any man in the street!

Regret to say, we are fighting shadows; and ignoring the substance. Economy is down. Retrenchments are common. Prices have shot! Recession is on! Economy sound?

Try PKR, what have we to loose...

If the post of Prime Minister is to be elected by all the Malaysians, I will choose a more capable person who can lead the country, regardless of which political party he comes from.

If the post must be from UMNO only, then I will choose Pak Lah only.

But I have no choise. As a Malaysian, I can't even have the right to choose the person, at least in my mind , who is capable to lead the country as Prime Minister.

You are the legitimate Prime Minister,please stay until the end of your term and complete all the unfinished works you set out to do.Under such uncertain times,we can ill afford a new guy to take over the reign and mess up the country even more than before.We trust you more than anybody else that UMNO could offer right now.Ignore and forget about the transition plan. Meanwhile do something to shut this old man up for good! The power is in your hand, make use of it to do good for the country and rakyat.

Let the rakyat decides who is fit for PM.

and yah, Badawi, lodge a report against TDM for all that accusations he had made.

TDM is worried not because of Paklah, is because he no longer able to remote control the government.

His hope and dream is for Mukhriz to be umno youth chief follow that to be PM after Najib lost in the next election. So his business partner can continue to suck the country wealth. THIS IS TDM DREAM.

TDM is absolutely correct in his observation and UMNO should be very concerned. The 30 to 40 MPs needed by Pakatan will be provided by Pak Lah hmself.
