By Adib ZalkapliKUALA LUMPUR, Dec 3 – In yet another stinging attack against his successor Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said "it was not impossible" Datuk Abdullah Badawi may not step down as the Prime Minister next March, when Datuk Seri Najib Razak takes over the Umno party leadership.
"There is talk that even if Najib becomes Umno president, he may not be the Prime Minister. I hear news that Abdullah is still interested to continue serving as Prime Minister," said Mahathir in the latest posting on his blog Chedet.com.
"Normally anyone who becomes Umno president will be the Prime Minister if Barisan Nasional wins and form a majority in Parliament. But this is just tradition. Someone who is not Umno president or BN chairman can also be the prime minister if he has the confidence of the majority of the Dewan Rakyat members," he added.
Dr Mahathir pointed out that it was common practice among Pakatan Rakyat (PR) parties where their leaders are not necessarily the heads of state governments they administer.
He hinted that Abdullah may resort to bribing Umno members to stay in power.
"Looking at the Umno leaders and members, it is possible for this to happen. They will not go against Abdullah as they are so comfortable with his leadership and certain pleasures that they received from him," he added.
He also warned Umno members not to let Abdullah continue as it will lead to the party's defeat in the next general election.
"The people are not interested in opposition parties but they don't have a choice. Umno is full of corrupt leaders and if Umno wins with BN, so those who bribed will become Prime Minister and ministers and they will continue to be corrupt in the government to recover their investment," said Dr Mahathir.
He added there are Umno members who believe that the party is surely going to be defeated so it is better for them to enjoy the benefits.
"What ever happens to Umno or to the nation they don't care. For them the gifts cannot be declined even if it is only RM100," said Dr Mahathir.

>>Amongst others, this is the most truthful of Dr Mahathir's other statements. Perhaps this is reflective of what considered a twilight syndrome, when on the brink of one to kick his buckets, he will reveal all his past sins, a last agony that he confesses to the Grim Reaper!....Continue to tell us more, all those sins you had committed were those words that you uttered! Reparation may be too late but at least the son will be saved, if ever he repents on your behalf! Farewell in advance!

I am ALL FOR Pakatan Rakyat!!!
I cannot accept corrupt parties like UMNO as the government of the day, just like Dr M himself admitted that "Umno is full of corrupt leaders and if Umno wins with BN, so those who bribed will become Prime Minister and ministers and they will continue to be corrupt in the government to recover their investment", why should we tolerate UMNO, with or without Badawi, then???

Everything TDM accuses Paklah is true but he is at least 10 times worse!

How good can a leader be when he holds his followers in such contempt.
I suppose UMNO leaders and followers deserve each other.

He maybe a sleeper but he is not a murder.
He maybe kissing breasts, but at least he is not kissing kris, swearing to kill.
If it was still Madhater, no transparent ballot box would have been used during last election.
If Mahathir is still the PM instead of Badawi, there will be no bloggers.
If Mahathir is still the PM instead of Badawi, we have a lot more enemies internationally
If Mahathir is still the PM instead of Badawi, 900 will be detained under ISA instead of 9.
In the country of the blind, the one-eyed man is king, Badawi is still the best amongst all the UMNO devils.
Tun Ma, Salam Tun Ma, Go back to bed, you are balderdashing again.
Please dont wet the matress, Tun Ma.

Many Malaysians feel Pak Lah should be given more time. Don't forget, notwithstanding a reduced majority, the mandate to govern is still his as the leader of BN at the last elections.
Mahathir has done much good for Malaysia but he has also done a lot of damage. Lately, he has almost single-handedly destroyed Pak Lah's career. And this was all because of a personal grudge after Pak Lah postponed the double-tracking project which Mahathir awarded to a favoured crony and the cancelation of the crooked bridge which was also awarded to a consortium with close links to Mahathir and his family. That was what this whole spat was about.
I just pray that Malaysians will be fair when they judge this part of our country's history and may Mahathirsim never return in the guise of Najib, Muhyiddin or that idiot scion, Mukhriz.

What has happened? You see shadows on Earth and Substance in outer space!
On Earth, we are fighting shadows and are afraid of shadows. Take one, example. The ex-defact Law Minister, Datuk Zaid Ibrahim, principled as he has always been, was found in brought day light with DAP in Penang and PKR in Selangor! His mere attendance raised eye-brows and sent sweat down the spines of UMNO leaders. Even his mere shadow among like-minded people in Pakatan Rakyat would send their shivers! Why are they afraid of the shadows? His conduct merited an UMNe Supreme Council meeting and an immediate expulsion from UMNO. Note that sacking him does not make hima mouse; he willo speak out; and now that he is freed from the shackcles of UMNO politics, he would speak louder and clearer; and UMNO could do nothing about it! Now he will talk more Substance and UMNO's shadow will not make a dent on his couarge to speak up and speak out. UMNO, by sacking him, has made him an enemy of him. UMNO deos not need enemies but friends, friends aplenty.
Then, there was the outpoken ex-Health Minister who spoke up about Malay Supremacy. Even speaking about it sent shivers down the spines of some UMNO leaders could not take it lightly, now that Party elections would decide the fates of many, the Police had come into action at once! Now, look at UMNO Penang leader who dubebd the Chinese as " squatters" and nothing happened! Wheer are the efficient Police? And when someUMNO members who could stand losing Penang to Pakatan Rakyat , they venetd theri anger against the mild-mannered Dr. Koh Tsu Koon, tearing his photo and stomping on it. Wheer were the so-called "efficient" Police? You could not even see the shadow, when a matter of sunstance was ravaged! And where is the Home Minister? Not even a shadow of him!
But, when the Sin Chew Reporter wrote in the newspaper, she was hauled and locked up, presumably fro her "safety". a laugable excuse.
And now, even the PM said that " we do not practise double standards" . Indeed you don't; you practise triple standards! One satndard for UMNO, who could do no wrong . Another standard for Non-UMNO BN Parties; and a third standard fro Non-BN leaders and bloggers and wriiters.
Look at Parlaimentary sittings. One sued "bastard" and it was accepatble. Suppose, an Opposition were to say it, what would have happened? Suspension, no question asked! A Minisetr said that the Judges were not sacked since they were given pension! But he made a mistake! What happened ? Nothing!!
But, two Oppsotion MPs were sent off!
KarpAL sINGH WAS ALSO SENT OFF ON THE ISSUE OF OATH-TAKING! And who was the one who asked for a pound of flesh. Any layman would say that in oath-taking, you have to raise your right hand!!! Ask any man in the street!
Regret to say, we are fighting shadows; and ignoring the substance. Economy is down. Retrenchments are common. Prices have shot! Recession is on! Economy sound?

If the post must be from UMNO only, then I will choose Pak Lah only.
But I have no choise. As a Malaysian, I can't even have the right to choose the person, at least in my mind , who is capable to lead the country as Prime Minister.
