Feb 25, 2004 — Landslide cuts off main road to Cameron Highlands. Tonnes of earth and trees bring down a 70m retaining wall at Km52 Tapah-Tanah Rata Road near Ringlet, cutting off the major transport artery to and from the hill. The wall was recently constructed as part of the Ringlet-Tanah Rata road widening project which commenced early this year.
Jan 15, 2006 — Landslide damages two double-storey houses in Taman Bukit Pandan, Cheras, Kuala Lumpur. It is the second in the area. The first occurred on Jan 4.
May 31, 2006 — Four people are killed in a landslide at Kampung Pasir, Hulu Klang, Selangor.
March 22, 2007 — A massive landslide in Putrajaya buries 23 cars and forces the evacuation of at least 1,000 residents.
July 23, 2007 — Seven cars are damaged in a landslide at the Taman Bukit Angkasa flats car park. The incident occurred after a downpour.
Sept 27, 2007 — Tonnes of mud from a landslide enter three homes in Taman Melawati, Bukit Mas, Kuala Lumpur.
Oct 4, 2007 — Thousands of people are stranded after a landslide cut off the main road link between the east and west coasts of Sabah. A large chunk of a hill slipped and covered a 60m stretch of road at Km85.4 Jalan Tamparuli-Ranau.
Dec 26, 2007 — Two villagers are buried alive in a landslide, which destroyed nine wooden houses in Lorong 1, Kampung Baru Cina, Kapit, Sarawak.
Dec 4, 2008 — 300 people are evacuated from two buildings when a landslide caused part of the retaining wall of a car park to collapse in Jalan Semantan, Kuala Lumpur. Several cars are buried under tonnes of earth.






No doubt the housing developers have a very powerful lobby - but it is our vote that puts this government in business!
Malaysians give the UMNO/BN government the mandate to govern for more than five decades.
And such faith has been rewarded with death and destruction!
If Malaysians are that stupid, then I say that they deserve it!
