KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 10 – Malaysia welcomes the decision of the United Kingdom (UK) not to introduce visa requirement for Malaysian passport holders.
The Foreign Ministry in a statement here today said Malaysia was pleased with the outcome of UK’s Visa Waiver Test (VWT) for Malaysians and that the positive result reflected the close working relationship between the British High Commissioner to Malaysia Boyd McCleary and his officials and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Home Ministry and Department of Immigration Malaysia.
It said Malaysia would continue to ensure the UK government on the high level of security at all international airports in order to prevent Malaysia from becoming a transit point for illegal immigrants into the UK.
Malaysia would impose sanctions on Malaysian immigration offenders who continue to overstay and work illegally in the UK while cracking down on people smugglers in Malaysia, it added. – Bernama

Because Malaysia itself can't offer this people the economy opportunity. If the country is prosperous, think Malaysian wanna be running and hiding in another country?
Luckily UK government is still benevolent.
Wake up wahai government.
