On one hand whatever he has committed must be very serious otherwise the party would not have barred him from contesting the UMNO Deputy President position inspite of the adequate nomination he got. But not serious enough to ask him to resign from his Chief Minister position.

Hmmm....we are now confuse. What is was he found guilty off? If it is against the law then he should be charged. If it is not serious enough to charge him then why bar him from contesting.

This is pure unfair judgment, if he is guilty he must be sack or banned from UMNO. Why he can still keep his Melaka CM? This is sure "Udang di balik batu" sure some black hand behind getting off the No.2 strongest competitor out from the way.

So this is how UMNO views their corrupt members. Continue being CM of Malacca but you cannot contest the DPM's post as you are corrupt.
Is this fair to the rakyat of Malacca? Having a CM who is a known corrupt? But then again, which UMNO minister or leader is clean?

Are you sure that only ali rustam is involved in money politics. What a joke. The people of malaysia are not stupid to listen to all this jokers in UMNO. Look back into our history. When did this money politic started - during Tun Mahathir time. It has gone to a stage, if no more is given, nobody will work for you especially in UMNO. They have been well trained in such a way that without money, nothing works. Najib can say that the members should be loyal to the party. If the party is still in the 60's till 80's i will agree. You have trained them or feed them in such a way that no way you can abolish money politics. Najib will says like what the last two PM namely tun and paklah says when they takeover or sit in the position - to eradicate money politics - nothing news. If Najib is really truthful in these matter - then let all the members has the right to vote and not the delegate system.Najib knows how many of the uMNO delegates are directly involved in goverment project - MACC you don't blame , its only for show. To the level the people living in rural areas also knows what is happening. Only GOD can save UMNO from this type of politics. Good luck to all the UMNO key personnels.

so if someone is corrupt inside the party...they can still stay as the CM of a state? And no investigation?

What kind of justice is this.? Offences serious enough ...........but will remain the CM of Melaka!!So that he can carry on committing the offences?? Somebody please help me to understand this. Sheeesh, the Malaccan are going to have a confirmed offender leading the state!!

One piece of logical advise for Najib. How can a unqualified person still be Chief Minister? The people will see it as 'digging up a hole to cover the other hole'. Fruitless.

There is no law in Malaysia except Umno's law. A person found guilty of corruption by Umno, barred from contesting the vice president post but yet can retain his CM post. THis Umno's law, guilty but also not guilty!!! Funny thing is that MACC found not one single case of money politics but Umno did. This is very confusing. I conclude if there is law and order in this country its use is dispensed selectively. That there are lots of people who are above the law. Umno is the judge, prosecutor and jury in this country. That is ARROGANCE and not fairness and justice.

Why NO action from MACC, the Chief of MACC must resign from the JOB, no excuses anymore !
Ali Rustam must resign from his Post as Malacca Chief Minister, no exception.
Guilty means GUILTY no two way about it Mr Najib Razak.
Why is there TWO sets of LAW ?? Please explain Mr Najib Razak.
Is MACC's Chief wearing a pair of Blinkers OR is it Selective Investigations that the Department practices ?
Why is MACC dragging its feet on the above matter ??
If NO action is taken by MACC, then it (MACC) should be dismantled and disbanded.

If a milk is tainted, its considered can't use. There is no way of cleansing. The same thing goes to him, he is guilty by UMNO. He has to resign entirely fron all post. There is no 2 ways about it.

Only can happen in UMNO, a party that is based on race and religion....sad

So as ali has been found guilty, can he be continue to be paid equivalent of rm47000 per month as melaka CM ?

I am confused of corruption, is there a table/category for measuring corruption ?

Is giving rm50 to traffic police first degree corruption ? ==> no case, small matter
Is giving rm500 to custom officer of not to confiscate raided item 2nd degree ? ==> no case, small matter
Is giving rm5000 to land department of changing other land owner name 3rd degree ? ==> computer mistake , no case

Is giving rm50000 to city council for project development at hill slope 4th degree ? ==> no case, landslide investigation still on, need to wait for report out

Is giving rm500,000 to respective delegates for their nomination support in supreme council 5th degree ? ==> no case, hard to catch red handed

Is giving rm5,000,000 to frog jumping over 6th degree ? ==> still no case, no withness

then how is MACC going to work if no standard of coruption definition?

Hey! Prime Minister in waiting, you are either dumb or there must be somthing to hide and that the nustam fellow knows your secrets. Looks like you are afraid he will 'let the cat out of the bag'. Otherwise, no sane person will retain a criminal as head of state. By doing that, you have lost the credibility to lead and respect from Malaysian of all walks. In other words, you have just shot yourself on the head.....good luck to you.
