The previous government chose camrys rather than the perdanas because of high maintenance fee. This shows that there are still a lot of improvements proton have to do before they can compete with other foreign car maker.

You want cheap maintenance of Proton cars? Just send them back to Proton service centre. Normal maintenance cost less RM400 on annual car service. Want cheaper? Send to Ah Beng Motors, less than RM200 kau tim.

We always see Perdana tail gate some expensive mercedes/lexus, i guess perdana only use by their so call body guard. Pakatan is right to buy cambry, it's more realiable than proton which most of my frds avoid buying with their hard earn $ now.

I used PROTON in the 80's and CAMRY in the 90's . My carrer have to travel by the said cars frequently from the south to the north of the Penisular. Fraknkly my maintenance bills for the past years were much much lesser than the last PERAK AND TRENGGANU YBs. I feel the PERAK state government can continue to use the CAMRY, why waste the rakyat money to buy the NEW PROTON PERDANA. The most important thing is to the car responsibly and maintain the cars at a reasonable price.
