IPOH, May 13 — Datuk Seri Zambry Abdul Kadir today refused to give a clear answer to the question of whether he is actually Perak's mentri besar, leaving confused Perakians stranded with more unanswered questions as the state comes nowhere close to solving its political crisis.
Zambry arrived at the state government building here at 9.16am in a black Toyota Harrier. He was greeted by sweaty reporters who had waited at the building's entrance under the blazing sun since 7am.
Just as he stated yesterday, the stay of execution granted by the Court of Appeal yesterday puts on hold the Kuala Lumpur High Court ruling that Datuk Seri Nizar Jamaluddin is the rightful MB and grants Zambry the right to resume duty.
But the question is, Zambry is to resume duty as what? The Bar Council yesterday interpreted the stay of execution as Zambry being merely the caretaker while his opposition counterparts claim Nizar is still the MB regardless of the stay of execution.
"You should not ask me that question. You should ask that question to the court," said Zambry, who seemed visibly annoyed by reporters' queries on the matter.
Zambry at the time had stepped out of his car to allow photographers to snap pictures of him entering the state government building.
It is learned that Zambry will be chairing “his” executive council meeting and will hold a press conference at noon.
Meanwhile, also seen entering the building earlier today was state legal advisor Datuk Ahmad Kamal Mohamad Shahid, who was among the two officials suspended by Nizar on the night he was declared the rightful MB again.
The state legal advisor and the state secretary Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Hashim were key players in the events of the past three months, beginning with the Feb 5 putsch by Barisan Nasional (BN) which led to the current political imbroglio.
Zambry yesterday claimed the suspension on the two has been rendered invalid by the ruling made by the Court of Appeal.

Very surprised! Menteri besar yang sah tidak boleh jalankan tugas menteri besar, tetapi menteri besar tidak sah diberi tugas sebagai menteri besar!

He at least should understand it is high time for people to decide what to do. Not he or the court. At this moment is the right period of time to put everything back to people as the rule of democratic basis principle. Why still want to mar your own reputation for nothing? One wrongful action may destroy your political career forever. A smart decision may bring you fame as you dream for. Think! bro.

The High Court has given a declaration that Nizar is the rightful MB and there is no such thing as a stay of declaration. It's like declaring that a woman is the legal wife of a man but putting a stay on it. What is the meaning?
The decision of the one-man Court of Appeal is illogical and perverse and probably illegal as well as a Court of Appeal must comprise at least 3 judges. However Umno is willing to abuse and pervert any institution to cling on their illegal power grab.

Hey! You know what, Zombie the Pencuri? YOU are the one who is invalid. Just go and ask the Perakians for their approval (or disapproval) of you grabbing power in the state. Better still, in the next state wide election, make sure you and all your so called Exco, plus the fake Deputy Speaker and Speaker stand as candidates. I'm sure the Perakians would love to give them a "surprise".

There are solutions already mentioned and spread all over and over again. Survey has been done by many and received positive repsonses. Why certain party does not want the by-election? Any particular logic? Does it means that they goes against people wishes.

Why not get the people of the 3 BN friendly independent constituencies vote for approval of there representative?
Since they are the one that says they are? Let them "PROVE IT" otherwise or a fresh election can be called.
The people will only need to vote "YES" they approve what their representative(s) is doing the right thing on there behalf and then PR should not qualm who is rightful ruling party. If "NO" which means the representative(s) no longer represent them and a fresh election can take place (only the constituency that voted "NO").
It should be simple. If the answer is 2 constituency voted "YES" than BN is the legit government else back to the people.
Let the Election Commission take the votes from the people in this 3 places like any election whether that is what they want. The only thing is no campaigning allowed by the representative or any parties since people knows what this is about. It should be that simple.
The crisis in Perak is caused by this 3 people that put the state in this predicament. Let there people verify what there representatives is doing the right thing or not.
It is not an election, it is a vote of confidence on there representative in making the choices on there behalf.

Hoi Zamry...why do u not answer the reporter's question but instead avoiding..no brain to answer ah.
With Court Of Appeal desicion means there are no MB..heard that , dei dont act dumb ok. You shouldnt resume position as illegal or pirated MB. Insult rakyat intellegence..somore mirror himself Gandhi..poorah, dont insult Indians lah.

If Najib is truly a leader, he should step in and TELL Zombie to "cut it out." The quagmire is being dug deeper and deeper. We started this fiasco with two "MBs." Then we had two "EXCOs." Now, we have two "Speakers." What next, we have two Peraks?
In Zombie's lust for power, he has divided Perak. No, it's not the media that is portraying him in a bad light. It is HIMSELF!
He is grandstanding, uttering soundbytes like "I am like Mandela, Gandhi and King." You're not even worthy to be the dirt under their shoes. You are worse than pond scum (sorry pond scum, you're way better than this Zombie leech).
Why is Zombie "rushing" to secure various positions within government, instead of patiently waiting for the Courts to settle the various cases? It is because he knows that Constitutionally and morally, his position is unattainable!

The Appeal judge gave you a 'Stay Order' to exercise on Nizar, the legitimate MB. Judge did not say you are the MB. Case not heard yet. Rakyat not bodoh lah. That's why the reporters ask you, that you are there on which capacity.
I hope you realise that based on the High Court judge, you are even the "former Menteri Besar".
How can you joker construe that the Appeal Court judge ask you to become a MB?
High Court judged that Nizar is MB, is, am at all material time.
So friend, who is hungry (or in his term, greedy) for the post. Ask the rakyat through election. Be a man for once.

Actually Pangkor voters must take courage now to let their rep know how they feel.
Whether his behavior is acceptable for bring shame to them. The voters are the one who elected the reps. If all the voters of this illegal BN state government rep organized and tell their rep how they feel, and truly they know who is their master. Make them afraid, be very very afraid of their voters.

if you dont know how to answer a simple question, you are definitely not the right person to be an MB..cannot answer, some more want to act arrogant !!..eh dei!! the appeal court never said you are the rightful MB either wor, it was just a stay of declaration..that appeal judge did not specifically say YB Datuk Seri Nizar was not the MB or said that you were the MB..maybe he meant you could go back and resume your duty as MP for pangkor mah....so what you doing going to the state secretariat for what???? dont simply assume...maybe you should go ask the judge what exactly he meant..so that you can then give the proper answer to reporters rather than show your annoyance visibly to people...

Wonder how much more can he shoot himself in the foot, first comparing himself to Gandhi; then claiming Nizar's power hungy. If Nizar's hungry, what is Zambry? Starving? Voracious?

The court of appeal essentially stayed the execution of the high court. It did not declare him as the legal MB.The High Court declared Nizar as the legal MB.

no wonder things in our beloved country are getting worse!

Zambry knows very well he is not the MB. Come on... dont underestimate a PHD holder .The court has decided that Nizar is the rightful MB. The next day Zambry obtained a stay of execution. The stay of execution only "holds" Nizar from being the MB and not replacing Nizar with Zambry as the MB. So Nizar is still the MB as far as the current court decision is concerned.
