The reporter asked him if the charges against Anwar are politically motivated and he replied that he had utmost faith in our judiical system???? That is not aswering the question. Then he goes on to say that Anwar tried to entice him to join Anwar by offering him the DPM's post. What has that got to do with whether the charge against Anwar is politicall motivated? Is he implying that the charge against Anwar is motivated by the fact that Anwar offerred him (and maybe others) positions if he (or the others) joined Anwar. Otherwise why say this in the context of the reporter's question. Is there a connection between the two. Is the BN fearful of people from their fold joining Anwar? Is that one of the reasons behind the charge. Well then it would appear that he answered the reporters question in the affirmative.

It sounds to me that he did more damage to the image of Malaysia by what he said than to Anwar's reputation. He displayed how small minded he was in his thinking by engaging in a personal attack on Anwar that seem to have the effect of confirmig what the reporter asked. How can someone like this expect to be taken seriously on the international stage. Maybe it's us the people of Malaysia who should sue him for lowering the image of us Malaysians in the eyes of the world with his inability to provide a direct answer to a simple question. Even the foreign minister of Sri Lanka was able to put a better spin on the autrocities being carried out there by their military than this idiot. Really Najib is this the best you can come up with to represent the country internationally. Aren't we enough of a laughing stock already after the Perak fiasco. We top it off by having a foreign minister who can't even address a simple question posed by the international press.

I really don't think that Anwar should waste his time getting bogged down with this issue. It is inconsequential and there's a lot more important things to focus on instead of being stuck in court over a 'yes you did, no I didn't' issue that will have the effect of detracting the rakyat from the more important issues like the illegitimate government of Perak.

For Anifah to state in this press conference that the Malaysian judiciary is fair and abided and enforced the RULE OF LAW and that the charges against DSAI is not politically motivated is disingenuous; BECAUSE I HAVE PROOF THAT A CERTAIN COURT OF APPEAL JUDGE HAD PERVERTED THE COURSE OF JUSTICE, AIDED AND ABETTED PERJURY & FORGERY.

Will Anifah accept my challenge to prove that such a judge now sits on the bench of the Malaysian Court of appeal ? The actions of the courts in Malaysia adjudicating on all except one had been PARTISAN AND A FLAGRANT DISRESPECT OF THE LAW AND THE RULE OF LAW. Mr Anifah's charges cannot be proven by evidence but given the dismal record of Malaysian Courts to administer the rule of law; it will be foolish for DSAI to take this matter because he just cannot expect the Judges to act fairly, and to that extend what can come out of DSAI's attempt to prove his own allegation ? There is nothing fruitful that can come out of a cse of "he says" "I say" nonsense.

I am in no position to say who is right or wrong but knowing that DSAI was courting Sabah politicians at the time, it is not impossible for DSAI to have offered a DPM (II) for East Malaysia to the younger Aman. But like his older brother and the rest of the Aman clan, they cannot be trusted. I don't know why DSAI was so blind as to believe that Aman was ready to desert BN. Aman was most probably using DSAI and the threat of defections to strengthen his hand in Sabah.

UMNO has been in power for the last 51 years. The party's leadership has ample time to nourish a system within which institutions of governance mainly the civil service, judiciary, police or perhaps even the military are manipulated to ensure entrenchment of UMNO's power. Abuses of these institutions are both blatently and subtly done. There is no more check and balance. Malaysians are generally humble,respectful, submissive, self-effacing, unassertive and modest. More importantly we are...tak mahu cari gaduhlah. UMNO understands this characteristics very well. They know that nothing much will happen when the abuse power entrusted in them by the voters.They feel secured. After all, the police, the judiciary and civil servants are under their thumbs.

Those Msians holding positions in the institutions of governance, including many university vice-chancelors and professors, could'nt do much against the pressure and manipulation because their life, wives, children and general welfare can be adversely affected....if you do not tow UMNO's desire ...no promotion for you! Having been in power for 52 years this culture has permeated to become a value system. If we were to compare the standard of our good governance with developed world UMNO has no standard at all. It's value system ie power craze, power forever, abuse of power, crime with impunity have become internalised into its soul that it is now beyond revamp.

Msian voters must realise that the only way to rid Malaysia of UMNO culture is to vote it out of the system and change. Bring to Malaysia a world class, a first world governance and a governance that can stand the scrutiny of the general public. Let us for once ensure that our future generations have sustainable development and trustworthy goverment.

the thing that curious me is why on earth at that particular time, he didn't say such an offer exists??? why wait until now??? to boast his politic ego i pressume. the world doesn't querry him why the unfairness especially for anti-bn parties because they know the answer coming back from bn politicians are always - 'we are the fairess of all law and order to all malaysians' and 'mind your own business - this is malaysia you are talking about' .

i'm a local malaysian and i can laugh when anifah says he has better things to do than to be aplogetic to anwar. he should has thought about this before saying any thing bad about anwar. i surely hope anwar will not let men like this off the hook so easily. unless anifah can produce evidence and not only hear-says, my conclusion is that HE'S LYING !!! and the world knows it. they might even think the whole BN are LIARS so they will 'HANDLE WITH CARE' . ha-ha-ha.

Balik balik people say BN controls the court and the judiaciary. The truth of the matter is that there are some judges that are corrupted but bear in mind that there are some good judges around. If the so-called mighty BN is so damn powerful and hold strings with the entire judicial system, why would charges of sodomy were acquitted (leceh la nak layan anwar luar, biar la dalam senang kontrol kot?) or why would Nizar won the recent judgment on the rightful MB of Perak (baik terus je bagi kat Zambry, takde susah susah nak pi buat rayuan, buat peleceh ja)? Judges are not perfect, there not Saints like some people claim to be.

But you know, some smart alec will then claim that all of this is just sandiwara... so you can never win either way.

It is the same case with the Police, the JPJ, the bombaman, the gomen people, the greedy corporate scums, the makcik jual pisang bagi diskaun sebab org beli pakai songkok, and many others... Some bad, some good. Everyone makes it like if something is not according to your belief system or your own type of judgment, then it must be corruption all the way top to bottom. Wake up and smell the tantalizing smell of fresh fried keropok lekor la, be realistic. You yourself are not the benchmark of everything.

Sure, now everybody in UMNO will call anyone to court because we are having puppet judges in Malaysia.Now Malaysia's image been tarnished by some Judges , Police Dept , Political parties and many more

Its funny how Anwar's own tricks backfire on him all the time. First he initiates and sanctions party hopping and then his coalition loses Perak. Then he wants the judiciary to intervene and later he starts to question the courts impartiality when the judgement goes against his favour. What a loser!
