PETALING JAYA, June 3 — DAP veteran Lim Kit Siang warns that Malaysia risks being a failed state under the Najib administration.
In a press statement, the former opposition leader blasted the government and blamed Umno cronyism for the collapse of the RM300 million Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Stadium in Gong Badak.
“The collapse is the inevitable consequence of a system which gives premium to ‘know who’ than ‘know how’, the curse of Umno cronyism hiding under the guise of the NEP,” said Lim.
The Ipoh Timur MP claimed that the recently-completed stadium was a disaster waiting to happen, saying the collapse was a warning of a serious breakdown in standards that will stop Malaysia from realising Vision 2020.
He also mentioned many examples that included the recent Jaya Supermarket disaster where construction workers were killed when the building collapsed while they were carrying out demolition work that was not approved.
Then there was the inability of the police to stop the spread of violent crime caused by Ah Longs who have an underground network that rivals the police.
Lim said the list could go on and even cited that Kuala Lumpur was now ranked the fourth riskiest location in the world for outsourcing according to the “Black Book of Outsourcing”, with our neighbour Singapore topping this list.

Compare this frank statement with Muhyiddin's stupid cover-up comments about the collapsed roof of the stadium in Terengganu. Do you think from the way Muhyiddin talk that he intends to find someone to be punished for this big screw-up? Do you think from the way Muhyiddin said he was not sure whether there was any storm blowing when it collapsed that he and his Umno cronies are planning to blame it on a natural disaster, when it is clearly a man-made disaster?

To build a good country , to make country progress , we need opposition party to raise the concerns .
Rulling party always take this as a treat to their position and a treat to their own interests , instead of allow this difference voices to surround , the rulling party always try to use the rulling party power to surpress the opposition party . This is against the democracy !!
Today, Rakyat is watching what is going on . Never surpress the opposition voices , it might sound uneasy to the rulling party but it is good or Rakyat and the country .
Rakyat is smart and educated enough , we know how to differentiate what is right and what is not right , do not give an accuse that opposition party will stir the emotional feeling and against rulling party .
Kiat Siang , continue your good job , continue to express what is right for our country . Because , we know that you are a good citizen , you care and continue to help this country on the right path .
Whoever , come out the good suggestions to make our country continue to progress , regardless they are from which party , what races or from what religion . They are all Malaysian , they are all love this country.
Please respect them . If they are not the hero , at least they are good citizen .
Jangan "1,2,3" tangkap mereka . Rakyat is watching , GOD is watching .......

This was clearly a political ploy carried out by UMNOputras' civil servants to swindle for votes during the Penanti by-election held on 31/5/2009, by mischievously uploading the listing of hundreds of applicants as "successful candidates" on website 2 days before the voting-day. Make no mistake that on 1/6/2009 immediately after PKR won the election, those names listed as "successful candidates" simply changed otherwise!
Racist politicians should leave our young, naive, innocent and studious Malaysians out of their evil political manipulations. Image how distraughted if you were in theirs shoes having a short-lived joy, yet not knowing such bungle been orchestrated by evil racists civil servants under BTN influences.

Then Singapore (with the back up from the US ) will have a upperhand and can dictate anything to Malaysia because then the BN government has become so hopeless. Malaysians can then apply for a red IC from Singapore, maybe also from Thailand, Indonesia and Filipines.
By then the Police will rule together with the heads of the various crimes and vice organisation in Malaysia. That would be like the end of times for Malaysia, with so many people begging on the streets, so many people dying of untreated ailments and crimes will be so rampant that the snatch thieves today will just be innocent school boys. There will be very few banks(owned by the gangs) and no ATMs anywhere. The army? Oh, they will just be patrolling the border to prevent Malaysians from running out of the country. Nobody wants the Malaysians to be in their country.
Cities will turn to slums and KL will deteriorate and Putrajaya will just be a dilapidated township. The roads and highway will have so many pot-holes that most of it become unaccessible by ordinary motor vehicles. There will be no new vehicles and spare parts are impossible to get, every component has to be modified and fuel will be difficult to get. The electricity supply will only be available for certain fortified areas. There will be not clean piped drinking water and human feaces, rubbish, junks and toxic materials will be all around the surroundings. The kampung folks will grow tapioca just like during the Japanese occupation and the staple food for Malaysians will be tapioca.
There will be no save place any where in Malaysia, no law and order and Malaysians have no where to turn to. But there would be many massage parlours, gambling dens, whore houses and liquor stores and all sorts of drugs can easily be bought from the streets.
That is why the BN must be removed from power because they just won't change and make any changes. I just hope that I am wrong.

We are not heading towards a "failed state".
We entered that a long long time ago.
