In what way is UMNO more Islamic than PAS?

In fact, is UMNO even Islamic at all?

Doing that is just scratching the surface. It does not curb corruption at all. This evil has already become a deeply entrenched culture - not easy to curb without political will to do so. Right now rakyat cannot see any such will at all. So whatever said is nothing but lip service.

TDM, it's not those who accept RM200/RM300 that matters...they are the small fries. It's those who give to ascertain their election to the higher echelon, they are the big fish UMNO got to get rid of. KJ is the rotten eg. and so are so many division leaders. We rakyat know what bull s**t you try to get to!!! Not knowing you were one of those past rotten head that started all these!! It's already an UMNO culture that s embedded since your time!

Unbelievable ! He who did the most damage by infecting the country with "money politics" now wants to curb it ! The sheer hypocrisy is astounding.

What the former prime minister says is that RM200 and RM300 is bad for the party. They should be looking at RM2 million and more !!
He is the root cause of corruption in UMNO and the country. Don't try to pull wool over our eyes and pretent to be a good guy!!

Ha! Ha! Ha! now that it no longer affect your interests. It's okay to have more delegates to vote! Why didn't you do it? With such half past six advice, the foxy character never seem to go away.

UMNO is more islamic than PAS if Islam stands for corruption and hedony.

Corruption can be curbed by amending UMNO constitution? Who is he kidding?

What about the entire reward/incentive system that breeds corruption?

What about the selection criteria of its leaders?

The evil, corrupted, dictator deserve no less then a shoe thrown !!!

He drains billions with bailouts & white elephant project on Perwaja, Proton, MAS, Putrajaya men-make lakes & bridges etc....
He sucks billions with privatisations, bailouts, highway tolls, Tenaga IPP etc.....

Now, He wanted Najib to revive his Crook Bridge.

For all the evil he had done...
From highway tolls, Tenaga IPP, mega & giga projects, man-made lakes & bridges in Putrajaya, countless bailouts on Perwaja, MAS, Proton.......

The old demon is now back to his rotten UMNO coffin...
Time is ticking & soon it shall be times-up for this old demon to meet his fate...

To be truly Islamic is to be FAIR and EQUAL to one and all.

Change the constitution to reflect Islamic Teachings where ALL are EQUAL before God.

No such thing in Islamic Teachings as special privileges, quotas, dominance, preferential treatment, discrimination, prejudice, racial inequality, unfair policies, corrupt practices, "duit kopi", supremacist and ketuanan stance, religious posturing and positioning, ruler above everyone else policies, etc., etc.

Islam promotes FULL equality among people before The Almighty God.

Can UMNO stand up to ALL the above requirements and conditions?

If it can't , stop claiming to be Islamic at all, and face the wrath of the people.

If it could, then expect a deluge of supporters from among ALL Malaysians, regardless of race or creed.

What is wrong with this Mahathir? Isn't he the one who introduced the quota into UMNO's election? Now he says the opposite is a good move to check corruption.

He must have a memory lapse, or has his conscience finally awakened?

What do we know about the Great Maha?
He built a yacht called "apanama". He bought a private jet - a Challenger - which costs RM200 million; he stays in a huge house on several acres of land in Cyberjaya which cost RM30 million; he just bought a brand new BMW 750 for more than RM1 million from a BMW dealer in Kota Damansara; he and his whole family are going on a first class, all expenses paid holiday to celebrate his birthday in July on the French Riviera. Where did he get the money for all this?
And he wants to fight corruption?
He is a laugh a minute.

Mahathir was UMNO president and PM for 22 years. He was the most powerful PM and UMNO president in Malaysia's history. He did NOT DO ANYTHING then, and now he talks "bravely" about the need to curb corruption in UMNO. Either he is again a COWARD who can only talk but not act, or he is the MOST CORRUPTED and it has never been in his interest to curb corruption in UMNO and Malaysia. Recall that Corruption in Malaysia reached new heights in all areas under Mahathir's PMship, and that "solid foundation" for corruptive practices led to worsening of corruption under Badawi (a lack-lustre PM not known for any decisive decision or action) and Najib (a tainted PM).

Is Mahathir telling us that, despite being in power for 22 years, he has no evidence whatsoever to fix the key corrupt figures in UMNO? Of course he has. The problem is that the list starts off with UMNO member No. 1: Dr. Mahathir Mohamed followed by his, cronies, the names of his children (Mukriz, etc.), etc. Mahathir, the unadulterated liar and great actor, wants to divert attention from him, his children and cronies to others. By pretending to champion the curbing of corruption in UMNO, Mahathir feels that he can deceive the people, especially the Malays, to see him as someone who is clean and upright. It is like the thief shouting loudly "Thief, Thief, Thief" to divert the people's attention away from himself.

Just ponder for a moment: How is it that Mahathir could remain as UMNO president and PM for 22 years when there were credible leaders such as Tengku Razaleigh and Musa Hitam around? How could some of the most unsavoury characters such as Daim, Khir Toyo, Jamaludin Jarjis, Ali Rustam, Samy Velu, Rafidah, Ling Liong Shik, etc., etc. (all known to be strong supporters of Mahathir when he was UMNO president and PM) have been in power and are so rich? How could Mukhriz,a totally unimpressive character who can't talk any sense, be elected as a Wakil Rakyat and now appoointed as a deputy miniter of a powerful ministry, the Ministry of Trade and Industry? How can some of Mahathir's children be amongst the richest in Malaysia? The answer is simple: CORRUPTION as perfected and practised by Mahathir Mohamed. Such unparalalled corruption at the higest level and order can henceforce be termed MAHA-CORRUPTION, a term worthy of entry into Wikipedia and attributed to Dr. Mahathir Mohamed, the supreme master of corruption and deception.

Of course to bribe 60000 is more difficult than to bribe 2500. But this does not mean that bribery will be wipe out from the electoral system. It only ensures that more people get than chance to choose the leaders who are expected to run the country by virtue that they are UMNO leaders. Why the UMNO leaders are willing to bribe so much because the winners can recover their investments once they are elected by th e UMNO members.
Once they are elected they will run the country like their own business empires by carving out contracts and projects for their own cronies. This is the corruption that is ruining the country. The amount that UMNO leaders want to bribe their members is not our concern but, the country is suffering from the bribes and abuses that the leaders do after they are elected. After all bribery within UMNO is not punishable by the law of the land. The most they get is just suspensions and most often will just be barred from contesting.

This is what a PM for 22 years failed to do. Of course there are many other things he had failed to do. He has a failed the nation.

Wahhh! this old fart, sure know how to encourage potential corrupted candidates to bloat their wallets even bigger to finance their aspirations as party leaders. Mamak Tun, is this the way you curb corruption?
You lighted the fire of corruption in UMNO, wou are pretending that you were a 'saint' when you were the UMNO PM....always it was others the culprits, you were such a blady angel!

UMNO who has made a big blunder for 50 years thus leading to the current situation.

UMNO has bullied everybody and the previous victim was PAS when it joined BN during the Datuk Asri's era.UMNO should admit its failures, bad deeds, wrongdoings and try to amend the mistakes. UMNO must eradicate corruption, abuse of power, bring back the integrity of the Police, Judiciary, the MACC and the medical profession.

UMNO must bring all those involved in scandals likeTrengganu Stadium roof, MRR2, Lingam Tape, Matrade building, Syabas, PLUS, IPP, PKFZ, Crooked bridge, illegal logging, illegal export of sand to Singapore, Ah Longs, Perak fiasco, buttock pinching, C4, dying in police custody, ISA detainees, monsoon cup and others to justice.

UMNO must also stop the money making schemes in all projects. If UMNO can do all these, the people will have faith back in UMNO and it can be strong again. Unfortunately UMNO can never change.
