KUALA LUMPUR, July 17 – Police have urged the public not to speculate on the death yesterday of Teoh Beng Hock, police secretary to a Selangor Exco member.
Deputy Inspector General of Police Tan Sri Ismail Omar said all quarters should wait for the investigation report and not jump to conclusion.
“We will do the autopsy this morning. Please wait until the autopsy is completed,” he told a press conference after closing a seminar for chemical diversion investigators here today.
Ismail hopes that the autopsy report would provide clues on Teoh’s death and that the investigation was done according to legal procedures.
The motive for the incident will only be known when investigation is completed.
Asked why four pathologists were involved in the investigation, Ismail said the police were using all resources at their disposal.
“It is normal for us to seek assistance from others. I have yet to receive any report on the incident from the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC),” he said.
Teoh, 30, was found dead in the corridor of level five at Plaza Masalam, Shah Alam which houses the Selangor MACC office, eight hours after giving statements on alleged abuse of government allocation. – Bernama

Teoh was taken into custody by MACC and the next event is he was found dead. Yes PDRM had concluded there was no evidence of foul play before any investigation.
Yes, we should not speculate on Teoh's death, as PDRM had already concluded there was no foul play - it was sudden death.
Let's pray for Teoh's soul and vote for BN's sudden death in the next GE.

Whatever determinations arrived at by these institutions are worthless and the people will resort to the media they trust most, according to their encounters with these medias. That is the problem. When you cry wolf too many times, the people will initially gets confused, bemused, apathy which later translates to distrust, disbelief and finally, ignores such messages believing them to be the normal lies that they had got used to. That is the reason why people resorts to bloggers and internet news for their daily dose of news or information.
Trust is earned. When one's reputation is compromised, then, people will no longer trust whatever message that originates from that source. Lies, lies and more lies will lead to distrust and messages will be ignored.

This is very puzzling lah to all of us.
Teoh Beng Huat's body was discovered at 1.30 pm.
That means - more than 24 hours have passed.
MACC has not given the police a report - that is not the norm.
Report must go in within 24 hours, right???
The more this incident drags on, the more suspicious people become.
And you cannot blame the people - a life is lost - in govt building.
Against the norm, the interrogation went on for hours till the wee hours of the night at 3.45 am.
The police must be tough with MACC -
Demand a report in your desk this very moment.
Grace period is over.
Nobody is speculating the death -
but everybody is angry the death happened in MACC building...
And MACC cannot give any reasonable explanation.
Your CPO of Selangor even said that it was sudden death...
As Deputy IGP, you should tell the CPO - please don't make silly statement.
It is a shame to the badge.

ii) accidentally fell down by himself due to fatigue or the floor is wet
or slippery
iii) died due to stress
iv) heart attack
v) fluid in his lungs
No matter what announcement from the Police definitely they will say MACC is not a party to it! MACC will be cleared of its wrong doing!
