ALOR GAJAH, July 19 – The prime minister’s personal emissary to the Teoh family home here – political secretary Oh Ei Sun – was taken aback when Teoh Beng Hock’s mother confronted him, demanding that he do something about her son’s tragic death.
Oh, who had come to convey the PM’s condolences, was visibly shaken but he quickly recovered and spoke to the family for a few minutes.
Later, at a brief press conference, he said: “I received a phone call from the prime minister last night. He told me to come here and offer his personal condolences to the family.”
While he was speaking to the media, Teoh’s younger sister came out and confronted him again, “What are you going to do about this?”
Oh told her that he would convey to the prime minister the family’s demand for a royal inquiry into Teoh’s death. He also said the Cabinet would discuss the matter this Wednesday.
Teoh’s family told Oh that they want to make it clear that they chose not to have a second autopsy because they did not want to prolong the pain, and not because they accepted the first report. Also, they want the PM to attend to this personally.
On the distraught family taking out their anger on him, Oh said he was not upset but emphatised with them as he, too, had suffered a personal loss recently.
After the press conference, there was a poignant moment when Beng Hock’s father, Teoh Leong Hwee, grasped Oh’s hand and pleaded for help to find out how and why his young son died.

Thank you for your thoughtfulness of sending your political secretary to send your personal condolences to Teoh's family at this time of their bereavement of the loss of Teoh Beng Hock.
Now you have sent your condolences,
as Teoh's family asked - and I think that is very genuine -
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT THIS???
Please attend to this matter personally.
The first question you should ask MACC officials is this:
How in the hell they were thinking - since they said that Beng Hock was helpful and cooperating, he was not a suspect but a valuable witness - to interrogate Teoh from 5 pm to 3.45 am, and to deprive him from rest and food????
Is that professional???
Is that 1Malaysia, People First, Performance Now..???
Zainul from Umno papers - indicated that MACC is a Malay institution -
Isn't that against your 1Malaysia vision and spirit of unity of all people???
Didn't you say that you are Prime Minister of all Malaysians, to all races in this country???
Then, why MACC only target their investigations on Chinese assemblymen from PR - don't you think MACC should be investigating bigger cases like Khir Toyo, PKFZ, Umno money politics, etc...???
Professionalism - obviously MACC officials are not professionals - and this has nothing to do with anti-Malay institution such as MACC - just genuine questions, don't you think - about Performance Now...
Why it seems that MACC officials tear Teoh's trousers??? Unless, they are suggesting Teoh tore his trousers himself...I don't think anyone with normal strength is able to rip his trousers apart...
Can you??? Unless, some cutting instrument was used...is it possible that Teoh could walk in to the office and got a scissors???
It is sad, that your 100 days performance have earned you a respectable 65 pct rating of approval - and in one silly thing that your officials did to Teoh - it was silly to interrogate a valuable witness to the wee hours of the morning - can destroy your approval rating and BN.
The people demand a Royal Commission of Inquiry to probe on this matter.
Crime must pay, if there was murder.
However you look at it, the officials definitely were negligent - that is not professional.
Negligence must pay.

Your newspapers are writing bull man - heartless and racist crap! What is the use of sending an emissary?
This is typical of UMNO. Forked-tongue rogues

If proper answers and action are not forthcoming, they should resign from the BN.
Are they prepared to do that or is this merely fake sympathy?

Whats even worse, your UMNO backed Newspapers are now putting a racial spin to the situation. Mr. PM-by-coup d'etat, do not stay silent. Control your dogs as they are whipping up racial tensions by their statements. be a Man and send those who are making such racist statements to jail - if I understand, what they are saying is SEDITION, pure and simple. Be seen to be a fair and just person or else, what they are writing is a pre-planned OBITUARY for your political life. This time the Rakyat will never forget and they will voice their disgust at the Polling station come GE13 whenever you plan to call it.

Shame on Oh Ei Sun, who was once a social activitist but turned out to be a lap dog to Najis now!!

You sowed the seeds for 1Malaysia.. Please nurture them. History does have a nasty way of hitting back at the best of times; for it's only entity of being; is Truth.

walked the street of Chow Kit to be with the people..
visited Brickfields and even stopped to have a teh tarik to be with the poeple..
(albeit after the streets were 'swept' clean and accompanied by an impressive gun-totting entourage)
but when it's time to be with the people, he can only send his people..
and to borrow a line from the late Freddie Mercury....
oooohhhh YES, I'm the great pretender, ooohhhh, oooohhh, ....
... displaying hypocrisy at it's utmost best .....

In the name of race and religion, they killed those that go against them.
In the name of race and religion, they threatened those that dare to speak the truth
In the name of race and religion, they conspired to bring down those that exposed them
In the name of race and religion, they preached to others but their own family fools around
In the name of race and religion, they preached purity while they stole
In the name of race and religion, they disadvantaged others to advance their personal wealth
In the name of race and religion, they preached peace but use violence
In the name of race and religion, they have hijacked Islam.

BN never listen to any of the views given by the people but they listen to a bunch of morons who thinks they know everything . Now chinese freedom is threaten and when you awake the Chinese Giant from sleep, Najib u better look closely as we are not week as seen by your own race. So , do what you have to do as People govt which you claimed to be one day. Your Deputy is not sharing the same OneMalaysia when he's still using Malay in every meetings he went and even using it to fight for Malay rights instead of Malaysian Rights.

2. The issues have nothing to do with race. It is about a life lost. To find the perpetrator/s involved in this, and with Teoh's death, what did it achieve, what did Teohs silence serve? The NST and Utusan only showed their true colors. Shit stirrers.
3. My condolences to Teoh's family and to the whole of Malaysia - dark clouds of suppression looms.

Trust me and we all know that all peace loving Malaysians are solidly behind the Teoh family, who had lost their loved one in the most tragic way, as "a dead person doesn't speak" and its the responsibility of the government to conduct a fair and transparent investigation. The presence of MCA ministers at the home of the bereaved family is highly commendable.
It is still not too late if UMNO and other component party representatives will also pay their last respect to the late Teoh Beng Hock and the bereaved family.I say just do it and don't have to wait for PM's directive, unlike Ho who is PM's political secretary who can only act on the instruction of his big boss. A political secretary or an aide to a Minister is subject to the directive of his boss in executing his function and responsibility as and when appropriate.

Zenophobic, do not find the easy way out by claiming that everything is 'politicised' if things do not go your way. The late and honorable deceased was a politician anyway. It is a political issue which ever way you interpret it. The government of the day had made it a political issue when they used the MACC in the first place to carry out these selective prosecution of opposition members.
So, Zenophobic, do not repeat what ever we have read in the newspaper like a broken down tape recorder about things being politicised. Use your 'abundance' of 'common sense' or non- sense to either speak with facts or just keep you gap shut.

Look familiar?
This is exactly the kind of look you see on the face of Altantunya's father.
This is exactly the kind of look you see on the face of Kugan's parents.
It is a bitter mixture of grief, disbelief, puzzlement, undeserved.
Why it happened?
Why it happened the way it happened?
How it happened?
Utusan, Berita Harian, NST accused people of politicizing the matter, but they themselves twisted it into a racial conspiracy.
C4, death in police custody, weed-killer, and now mysterious drop-dead...
Can anyone recall an old movie Omen...
Just wonder if there is a surgical patch on nis skull...

He can't do much to help Teoh's death.
Visit Teoh's family yourself, when your touch down flight today.

As I see it nothing much will come out of this fiasco. People have short memory and the BN is NOT going to act on it seriously and sincerely.
If PR is voted into power won't there be even more rumbles?

What is the point for Najis to do the remedy now? It is a human life, nothing less than this.
Even you put the culprit on justice it will never bring back Teoh.
Enough is enough and we must never ever vote for BN.
