I am a Shah Alam resident and despite the brouhaha and all that sort. I can say PAS and PKR have been doing a good job administering the public works in the city compared to BN.

Although I am not in favor of selling of beer in convenience store (can get it at tesco which still opens till midnight 5 mins away from the disputed section 8 7-11) I am confident DAP still shares the ideals of good governance and essence of 'amanah' that Islam propagates, far more better than UMNO, which is evidently corrupt.

Life as a good Muslim does not only revolve around refraining from drinking beer. It is about having the integrity, on believing that you are accountable to no one except the only one God in your duties trusted by the public upon you, and I just cannot see that in UMNO, AT ALL. Lim Guan Eng, who publicly announced to copy his administration's integrity to that of the highly revered Caliph Umar Abd Aziz, seems to portray that, at least in his day-to-day administration.

Malay and Malaysians (Malay, Chinese, Indian & others) has no hope if we are managed one day by this group of Malay youth and their head, an Oxford freak.
They have and continue to cultivate so much hatred in the country. Instead of bringing the different ethnic groups together, they continue to divide them in order to repair Umno battling image. This group of people are narrow in their thoughts and dealings.

Abstension of an offensive item in a religious context is very much not within a believer's control in every situation or environment. when it becomes conducive in one surrounding does not mean it would not be offensive to us in another. The comparison can be made if we are in Bahrain and at another time you are in Japan or Europe and in either situation we will encounter different type exposure to any offensive items against our religion. Get serious, GE 13 is not going to be won with bad mouthing opposition, you need a clear cut strategy if you want to win, and I dont see one from the BN side. Grabbing power illegally will not be accepted easily anymore. Imprisonment of Anuar will give sympathy votes to the opposition. You really have very little choice. Anuar has such a strong message that it will be even easier for him to get votes in GE13. What is your strong message? You are trying to gve different message to different audience, it would have worked in the olden days when the media was controlled, but now with the internet, this strategy does not work, only provides more ammunition to the opposition to hit BN. My recommendation:

1) Create a clear message to the rakyat which encompasses the opposition, "BN servant of Rakyat" (sorry already taken by Anuar in Ketuanan Rakyat)
2) Walk the talk in reality (there are none in BN experienced enough to know what this means)
3) Stop bad mouthing opposition (How can...when they hit you on issues, you have to react)
4) Do not use machiavellian methods (Need quantum leap in thinking.. not possible at this time)
5) Get coherent with the message across to all cross section of the Rakyat (Cannot be done... BN is so deep in with divide and rule that it cannot change the mindset)
6) Provide strong perception that judiciary, Police etc is independent (Everyone in BN will land up in Jail)
I know it is tough, all obvious choices are gone or already taken by the opposition. My final advice, just quit politics now and come back when PKR is in Power.

We have to check what written in the Quran to know who are the hypocrites.

A hypocrite in Islam is one who saw Islam; accepted its principles; embraced it; went along with it, but when his life style and preferences were challenged, Islam had failed with him. He knowingly wouldn't follow Islam because it would violate a certain life style that he adopted, ego, or standard that is too important to him, even though it directly violates Islam.

The difference between a hypocrite and a normal Muslim who sins, is that a hypocrite adopts an unacceptable life style and actions, and insists on following it, while a normal Muslim knows that he is wrong, tries to resist doing sins, but unfortunately sometimes, he still falls into sinning due to immaturity or physical weaknesses.

In a nut shell, this is what a hypocrite is in Islam. A hypocrite is a "Muslim". He is not an apostate (murtadd), nor is he a polytheist or idol worshiper (mushrik), nor is he an atheist (mulhid). A hypocrite does declare Islam as his religion, and in some cases even prays to GOD Almighty and fasts the month of Ramadan. Not everyone who Prays to Allah Almighty, however, is a good Muslim. Allah Almighty said:

"So woe to the worshipers Who are neglectful Of their Prayers, Those who (want but) To be seen (of men), But refuse (to supply) (Even) neighbourly needs. (The Noble Quran, 107:4-7)"

"The Hypocrites - they think they are over-reaching God, but He will over-reach them: When they stand up to prayer, they stand without earnestness, to be seen of men, but little do they hold God in remembrance; (The Noble Quran, 4:142)"

Those who are neglectful of their Prayers that are considered as hypocrites are ones who pray to only gain recognition by men, and refuse to do good. They do not connect spiritually with Allah Almighty when they pray 5 times every day, because the sole purpose of Praying in Islam is to Worship Allah Almighty alone throughout the day, and to constantly stay focused and purified from sins.

Hypocrites are obviously not purified nor cleansed from sins, even if they pray. That is why Allah Almighty cursed them, because they are spiritually "neglectful" of their Prayers.

Very Important Note: While Allah Almighty will still punish even the sincere Muslims who neglect their Prayers out of physical laziness, but these Muslims by far are never considered hypocrites. There is a difference between a hypocrite who wants to be seen by men and gain worldly recognition through his prayer, and one who is physically lazy, but yet, is still a very good and sincere Muslim who tries his/her best to please Allah Almighty in his actions and life style. Allah Almighty also said:

"The Hypocrites, men and women, (have an understanding) with each other: They enjoin evil, and forbid what is just, and are close with their hands. They have forgotten God; so He hath forgotten them. Verily the Hypocrites are rebellious and perverse. (The Noble Quran, 9:67)"
