Good grief. Hear this guy talk. On one hand, he's quick to jump on any protest aimed against the government full on with ndiscriminate arrests, tear gas, water cannons. But when an illegal gathering of 50 people take place, he practically turns a blind eye to it.

Throwing out an excuse that Indians don't want the temple there? Sounds as ridiculous as his response to the protest. Just yesterday we found that Indians WANT the temple there. Looks like Hisham has only been listening to one side of the story, if at all.

According to our YB Hishammuddin, you can organise a demo of less than 50 people. Its OK the police will just watch from the side.
According to him if you wrapped a pig head in a flag, we can also stompped and spit on a cow head. You can used any animal head to demo when you are angry. Its Ok , its allright.
When you hold a demo, you can allow a stranger you do not know to insult him. Its ok. He can accept that. He wont penalised you for it. ( But not in Myanmar, Aung San was penalised for allowing an intruder into her house. How lucky you are in Malaysia. )

Those that opposes PR state govt will not be arrested while those who opposes BN federal or state govt will be ISA-ed, tear-gased, etc. Selective arrest and persecution is what Hishammudin meant by not in favour of legal action against the cow-head protesters.

Are you telling me that I can go to a mosque and protest over it being built in my area which is 90% Non-Muslim and then you will tell all the Muslims to forgive me and not to be sued or imprison for my actions. For I was only trying to voice out my dissatisfaction over the mosque being built in a mainly Non-Muslim area because the BN government did not give me space and time to voice it out before it was build.
What the protester has done is TOTALLY wrong and should be punished accordingly as per the Law of this country. Unless the BN government is just as quilt.

The leaders of the protest realised and someone was carrying a cowhead in a protest against Hindu temple relocation and yet they did nothing to stop that person. In fact, they went along, carried the bloody cow head for 300 metres, place it in front of the state secretariat and even stepped on it. Common don't tell us that they did not know what was going on.

The difference between the incidents involving pigs carcass / heads and this one is that in the former the perpetrators were not known, not videotaped, not watched by policemen, did not give follow up comments and were not met by you. It shows that the PM team has lots of incompetent people. They are the real people who incite raciscm, encourage religious extremeism, create political instability, create a bad and backward education system, unsafe social environment....No wonder Malaysia is going backward. I think it is totally irresposible for Hisham to make such a statement when the police is investigating such incidence. Do you know that the polica has yet to complete their investigation let alone letting the court to determine whether a crime (such as under sedition act of illegal assembly or ISA etc) has been comitted. As a home minister having the police under your wing, how exactly do you want the police to tell the public of the outcome of their investigation after making such statements?

Another thing is what is Hisham trying to say when he brought up the "Pig's head" issue. Is he trying to imply that it is all right to do the cow's head stunt to insult the Hindu and created racial tension amongst the rakyat now because there was also an insidence of pig's head involving umno?

Why discriminate against others who wish to construct their house of worship in their residential area? Is the presence of a majority of a particular ethnic group in a locality reason to deny others' their rights and liberties? Hisham, Hisham! What has become of your conscience and thinking ability??

Hisham, what should they do when they find a cow head bought along. They as the organiser should immediately stop the person involve and throw the cow carcass into the dustbin. They also have the alternative of stopping the person involve from participating on the demo. If after the incident then everybody deny responsibily then it show how coward a team you all are. PAS can vouch that non of their members are involve, if any then drastric action would be taken against them. So Hisham can u vouch the same and take stern action including imprisonment and sack from the party if any of your members are found to be involve.

If I was a protester for BERSIH, I should not be arrested for demonstration.
If I was a protester for Anti ISA, I should not be arrested for demonstration.
It is because I care for these causes and is angry at the harm it has caused to me for that I should not be arrested.

But if you were to protest because you feel it is wrong for the local authority to place a house of worship on a land not supposed to be use for such purpose, you are wrong.
If you were to protest because you feel uncomfortable having a temple in front of your house, you are wrong.
If you were to protest because when you bought the house, you were told that you have a park in front of your property but now it is a temple, you are wrong.
You are wrong to defend your rights under the Constitution for these are racist acts.

What's Next Hisham? Malaysia is a majority Muslim country like section 23, Shah Alam is a majority Muslim area. So by your same reasoning there should not be any temples, churches built in Malaysia? Don't subdivide the land to suit your argument lest we say that the land my house is on 100% non-Muslim, therefore I can do anything I want. By the same token then the land given for the temple in section 23 is 100% non-Muslim so they can do what they like. Common there is such things as Neighbours. So section 23 is Muslim majority but there is also non-muslim Neighbours.

In Macro, the world is a majority non-Muslim creation of God. So can we insult each other then or the minority Muslim should be knocked out?

It's not fair for Hishamuddin to decide anything in this matter as he is an UMNO member. If the allegations of UMNO members being the culprits behind the cow head protest are proven true, then he cannot arbitrate because of vested interests. It's his own party. must be remembered that 40% of Section 23 residents are Indians. And about 15% chinese. The 150 year old temple is moving from section 19 (a real muslim majority area) to a high Indian population area. Is that so wrong? Or would you rather have the temple go back in its spot in section 19.
