Want licence plates that remind how much ‘TAX’ you pay?

KUALA TERENGGANU, Oct 14 – The Terengganu Road Transport Department (JPJ) has opened tenders for the car registration plates TAX 1 to TAX 999 until Nov 3.

State JPJ director Abdul Rahman Emang Anyie said he expected a good response for the number plates but did not think anyone would offer any sum more than RM200,090, the highest in the country so far, which was paid for the number plate TAN 1.

Perhaps there may be interested parties in the town of Chukai (which means “tax” in Malay) in Terengganu! – Bernama
