KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 4 — Former Maju Institute Education Development (MIED) chief executive officer P. Chithirakala has filed three defamation suits against MIC president Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu, his wife Indrani and Tamil newspaper Tamil Nesan.
Chithirakala is suing Samy Vellu for saying she had hijacked insurance money for MIED and diverted it to a company owned by her husband.
In the suit against Indrani, Chithirakala claimed that Samy Vellu’s wife defamed her by questioning her professional work and character.
Chithirakala claimed Tamil Nesan published an editorial which defamed her and her family's character.
