Tun Mahathir is the reason UMNO is the racist party it is today. Khairy wants to change that, so no surprise that Mahathir will do all he can to bring Khairy down. It's more than the Pak Lah connection. This is ideological. Old skool vs Visionary.

Love him or hate him and I am neutral, KJ is the most intelligent UMNO official. He's got the pedigree, & the schooling. He is head and shoulders over Muhkriz and I think, more than anything else that irks the old man. Unfortunately for KJ he began his political life having to defend the indefensible FIL of his. You commented that Malays are now depending on NGO and not UMNO as the latter is no longer seen as championing the Malays cause. Two points Che Det (1) Tak kan you could have missed the obvious that NGO stands for non governmental body and hence is freed from any governmental burden and responsibility, compared to UMNO - that is the leading party of the ruling BN coalition. (2) As a member of the ruling coalition, UMNO needs to be inclusive and serves not only the Malays, but all Malaysians too.

Have the balls to ask the party election committee to explain the so called long period of vote-count. I've been told that it was due to procedural issues raised by the wakil calon of all the 3 candidates. Mukhriz's representative, who was privy and physically around during the vote-count process, was said to have conveyed to his friends that KJ won fairly.

Tun, you pun kenal wakil cxalon Mukhriz sapa dia and siapa ketua kempen Mukhriz so why dont you just ask them on the details? I believe they must have reported the vote-count process and the reason of the delay. Saja nak buat isu la ni.

And Dr Mahathir, why can't you accept the simple fact that your son lost? Is it so difficult to accept the democratic voice in UMNO that had chosen Khairy over your son? Why even talk about Khairy being unpopular? Your failure is even greater than his (whatever that is): By endorsing PERKASA you are admitting to the Malays that you have failed them in the 22 years that you ruled the country. I will reserve my comments about KJ. All I will say here is that the UMNO rank and file think Mahathir is the greatest thing since slice bread. What they dont understand is that most of the rakyat thinks he is the worst thing since Hitler.

I agreed with KJ's FIL Mahathir continues to spew poison in his twilight year !

Own son became Deputy Minister through back door and totally unqualified. Winner ignored, loser becomes Deputy Minister. This alone shows how personal the old snake is and his total contempt for the law and regulations in order to get what he wants. Never before has such venom, hatred and spite been seen in a single person for his own nation and countrymen.

Cannot take it when someone is smarter and more popular than your son eh?

Khairy is doing well since his election. From his works and words, he is doing a good job. He changed the face of UMNO pemuda from the sabre-ratting of the past to one that is compassion (many appearances to modify the heated situations in many burned churches recently. His actions speak volume about being moderate, compassion, accomodating etc while also protecting Malay rights.

If this is the future face of UMNO lead by the new generation, then there is hope for UMNO, even among the non-Malays. UMNO will become more acceptable as it becomes more 1Malaysia in words and deeds.

KJ is the most capable of the lots that we can see coming up from UMNO. KJ is just too good and too intelligent for Mukhriz and Mahathir. If you are smart, you will be an enemy of that senile old man and Khairy is one. KJ, this old man has never forgiven you for asking him to step down as PM while you were a student leader in Oxford. This goes to show how vindictive he is and Malaysians concur with you that he is an ultra racist and should bow out of politics for good. Remember, this is not the end of the road, since it is reported that PM, DPM, HM and TDM wants you to go, there is always another place for you to go, and together we set out to welcome the dawn of a new era. Together with Tengku Razaleigh, TAB, you all easily have 20 Malay MPs on your side, just become independents when those from PKR crosses over. Make it count, there is no place for sentiments in politics and with the anticipated move of East Malaysian MPs the dawn of a new era in Malaysian politics is truly probable. Help Malaysians achieve that, and do it when it matters, when the PKR MPs join BN. As a man of principle, you should detest this move as those that crosses over are orang orang yang bermasaalah! KJ, your time is now and remember to make your move. You will be far better off in a new Government than to be in the rotten to the core UMNO, as the old man said!

If not for the 22 wasteful years under the corrupt and racist rule of the super monster malaysia would certainly be a developed nation by now. Just look at the natural and human resources malaysia had thrown away under the Big M( for monster) rule. The reason why he hates singapore so much is because the rapid growth of singapore is partly attributed to him. Whatever capital and human resources he had thrown away LKY had happily treasured to help singapore to grow. Sorry to say, Dr. Mahathir, you are having a bitter taste of your own policies. During your time when Anwar Ibrahim was your deputy, both of you controlled UMNO so tightly that no one dared to challenge both of you not because there weren't any challengers but because you always get the message that there should be no contest for the top two posts through much earlier, way before the branches had their annual meetings. There were lots of "kaki bodek" and "project hunters" in the party who will go round campaigning that there should be no contest for the two top posts. Finally this trend was picked up by MCA, MIC, Gerakan and the other parties in the coalition. This was continued by your hand picked successor Pak Lah. This policy of yours made many UMNO members fed up with the leadership of the party at all levels and many voted for the opposition in the 12th general elections. Without UMNO votes the opposition would not have been so successful.

Pak Lah alone should not be blamed for the poor performance of the BN. You are equally responsible. You have treated the party like your own private property and you did whatever you liked. Nobody dared to question you. Most were only interested in their own welfare and benefits and positions in the party and government. The party's interest was secondary. All were yes men. Those who were not happy with your way of running the party were silenced by the yes men. Their voices had no place during your leadership. But after many years of silence they made their voices heard through the ballot boxes during the 12th general elections.

Let me just tell you of one case to prove my point. You handpicked Pak Lah as your successor. Was that done in a democratic manner? No! You are the one who also said that Najib should be the Deputy Prime Minister. This is also what you did prior to the party polls. That is you decided for the party, not the members. That goes to show how you used your position as UMNO President and PM to make decisions on behalf of the more than 3.5 million UMNO members and even the 25 million population. You even tied Pak Lah's hands before retiring by openly saying Najib should be the Deputy PM. Rightfully you should have allowed all UMNO members to vote whom they wanted as your successor in an open contest minus the restrictions you had introduce to safeguard your position. Your undemocratic policies finally took the toll on UMNO and BN.

Everyone knows Khairy did not win the elections as UMNO Youth chief by himself but by his position as the son-in-law of Pak Lah. Not only that, the several hours of counting and recounting just 700 odd votes could mean that your son Mukhriz actually won but Khairy had the power behind him and nobody dared take the risk to let Mukhriz win. Isn't this a repeat of what happened in the 1987 UMNO elections where Sanusi played an important role to make you win against Tengku Razaleigh. Pity Mukhriz, who had to pay the price. As I was there, I believe till today that Mukhriz won like the majority who believe till today that Tengku Razaleigh won in the 1987 contest against you.

Khairy is not popular in UMNO. He is just showing to be popular. Because of him and a few others, UMNO and BN faired badly in the 12th general elections for the first time in the history of this country. Khairy together with Najib and Dr. Awang Adek failed were a total failure to take over Kelantan from PAS. The 1969 general elections was not this bad for the Alliance party as it still had the majority. However you were among the few who lost their parliament seats.

Majority of the leaders of UMNO and other BN component parties are still not accepting the fact that they are not wanted by the voters. They are still trying to hold on to their positions claiming to be still popular. Many of the current ministers and deputy ministers are those who lost in the 12th general elections. Can BN get back its past glory with so many rejects still being made ministers and deputy ministers? The way things are today, BN is heading towards disaster. There is still hope for UMNO and BN provided the leaders are willing for drastic changes. Looks like there won't be any drastic change, so BN's rule is coming to an end latest by the next general elections. All the stubborn and power crazy leaders in BN must be blamed if this happens to BN.

Since that is the end of the road for Khairy, he should make a shocking crossover to PKR. Eroding UMNO's base or eventually causing its complete downfall.
There is no hope in UMNO/BN! All incompetent corrupted hypocrites!

KJ, when your father in-law was in power offcourse you are powerfull too..you know what I mean..you can influence all sorts of things including awarding billion dollar contract to your cronies. things like this has always been UMNO tradition and culture. Now, your father in-law is not a PM anymore offcourse lah UMNO members as usual have to follow what the present boss wants. The present boss and his mentor does'nt like you to be UMNO YOUTH CHIEF anymore. They want the position to be given to most qualified and very clean person which happen to be the senior mentor's son. So, offcourse as tradition of UMNO, party members have to support the wish of the bosses 'which is to kick your butt off the UMNO Youth Chief position. So, the challenge upon you is so great to protect your position as so many of your members will voluteer to stab your back. I'll definite salute you young man if you can pull through and immunify yourself from these poison snakes that are now all over you. If you can pull through this one..then you have great chance to become Prime Minister of Malaysia one day. Insya Allah..TIME TO STRIKEBACK..You got nothing to loose now..gather your loyal army within Umno Youth and strike back..after all you are not sure of your MP position in the next election anyway...may your name will be dropped totally...If they can 'whacked' DSAI..what more yourself...kacang je...
