Nick Griffin for PM... of Malaysia

OCT 29 — Ahh, so yes, they let Nick Griffin, the leader of the “racist” British National Party, on BBC’s "Question Time." What was the result? A record audience of eight million viewers, edging out even the titanic following for "Strictly Come Dancing", and 3,000 new members for the far-right party.

All that achieved by broadcasting a man, allowed just a few minutes in the hour-long show, who twitched all night and talked about Winston Churchill’s “Islamophobia” and wanting to see Britain return to its innocent days when it was 99 per cent white because it is apparently tragic when a “unique human genome becomes extinct.”

Well, if good ol’ Nick is that effective, maybe he is the sort of man Malaysia needs. He could really make the 1 Malaysia rhetoric work, you know. And what better place for him to work on national unity and integration than in the prime minister’s chair.

Yes, you read that right. Jerome Martin is now backing Nick Griffin for PM. Of Malaysia.

After all, he has so many similarities to our most esteemed and long-serving Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad. Let’s have a comparison of some of the things Griffin said on "Question Time” and stuff Dr M has said or written.

Xenophobia

Griffin: I said that Churchill would belong in the BNP, because no other party would have him for what he said in the early days of mass immigration into this country, the fact that they are “only coming for our benefits system.”

Dr Mahathir: Foreigners who once colonised us, who have done nothing to help us, these foreigners have no good intentions.

Race

Griffin: I want to see Britain become 99 per cent genetically white, just as she was 11 years before I was born. It’s sad when a unique human genome type becomes extinct.

Dr Mahathir: The Malays are spiritually inclined, tolerant and easy-going. The non-Malays, and especially the Chinese, are materialistic, aggressive and have an appetite for work. For equality to come about, it is necessary that these strikingly contrasting races adjust to each other.

Being misquoted

Griffin: Without a shadow of a doubt, I appreciate that if you look at some of the things I’ve been quoted as having said, I would be a monster. Those things are outrageous lies. The vast majority of them (are misquoted), far too many to go into.

Dr Mahathir: In my speech I condemned all violence, even the suicide bombings, and I told all Muslims it's about time we stopped all these things and paused to think and do something that is much more productive. That was the whole tone of my speech, but they picked up one sentence where I said the Jews control the world.

(Dr Mahathir has however mentioned that “the Europeans killed six million Jews out of 12 million, but today the Jews rule the world by proxy. They get others to fight and die for them.”)

Islam

Griffin: It treats women as second-class citizens. Women who are victims of rape are stoned to death for adultery. It orders its followers to be harsh with unbelievers who live near to them and ordains as a religious duty the murder of Jews and non-Muslims. It’s in the Quran, there’s no point shaking your head. It doesn’t fit in with the fundamental values of British society, free speech, democracy and equal rights for women.

Dr Mahathir: 1.3 billion Muslims cannot be defeated by a few million Jews.

Indigenous

Griffin: You wouldn’t dare go to New Zealand and say to a Maori, what do you mean indigenous? You wouldn’t dare go to North America and say to an American Red Indian, what do you mean indigenous, we’re all the same. The English, the Scots, the Irish and the Welsh, the colour is irrelevant. The people who have been here, overwhelmingly, for the last 17,000 years, we are the aborigines. The majority of British people are descended from people who have lived here since time immemorial.

Dr Mahathir: Malaysia is a multi-racial country made up of the indigenous Malays together with the tribes of Sarawak and Sabah; the Chinese descendants of immigrants who started coming to the Malay states more than 600 years ago, before European colonisation, and the Indians brought in as indentured labourers by the British to work in the rubber estates... At the time of the struggles for independence the majority of the people of Malaysia were Malays. Since British rule in the Malay states was through treaties with the Malay sultans, independent Malaysia should revert to Malay rule. The Chinese and Indians would legally have no status in Malaysia... But the Malays decided that they should share political power with the Chinese and Indians and the other non-Malay indigenous people... Malays are said to be immigrants in their own state and other immigrants cannot be referred to as the immigrant race. If anyone does that, they have to apologise but nobody needs to apologise if they say Malays are an immigrant race… Today’s situation is more dangerous than the time of the British when they planned to conquer all the Malay states under the Malayan Union precept. Now, Malays cannot describe this state as a Malay state, cannot describe this state as the Malay peninsula. Japan can be called a Japanese state, Korea as a state for Koreans, China as a state for the Chinese and India as a state for the Indians. Previously, it was possible but not now. Now Malaysia is everybody’s right but not a Malay right. The willingness of the Malays to share ownership of this country is not a little bit appreciated. The bestowing of one million citizenships by Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra to the other races is not only not appreciated but unremembered, forgotten just like that…”

Their race under attack

Griffin: The immigration invasion is a deliberate and calculated act of genocide against its own people. I’m afraid that’s the case from the ordinary grassroots position, when the political elite celebrate all the multicultural diversity. Genocide is about destroying a culture and not allowing children not to learn their own culture.

Dr Mahathir: At one stage the Chinese actually outnumbered the indigenous Malays. Had it not been for the recession in the 1920s when many immigrants went back to their countries, Malaysia would be a Chinese dominated country like Singapore... The Malays harboured hopes that they would assimilate to other races. But the other races were too big and too strong for this to happen... If Malays are not allowed to talk about their own problems, there is a possibility they will become dispossessed in their own country. This is the dangerous truth because we have seen the pressure and the contempt towards the Malays when they became a minority in a region that was once a part of the Malay states... Malays are practically in state of emergency, afflicted with all kinds of problems and threats…. We proposed that everyone study together in one school, then only can you have Bangsa Malaysia. They did not want to mix with the other races, especially the Malays. They did not want their children to mix with Malays and that is apartheid, not us.

Homosexuality

Griffin: I’ve said that a lot of people find the sight of two grown men kissing in public really creepy. I understand homosexuals don’t understand that, but that’s how a lot of us feel. A lot of Christians feel that way, Muslims, all sorts of people. I don’t know why, it’s just the way it is... Militant homosexuality, not all of them, the militant ones, do not have the right to preach homosexuality to schoolchildren. That is perverse.

Dr Mahathir: Sodomy is usual for you Europeans. Sodomy is what the bishops do.

Western media

Griffin: I regard the BBC as part of overall, an unpleasant ultra-leftist establishment... The British public are aghast at the display of bias from the BBC, the venom from the political class, and the sheer unfairness.

Dr Mahathir: The international media... for them, war is interesting. The war is nice because you can have lots of pictures, even can become a brave reporter to go into the war zone.
