It is you Zambry who represent the tryanny of the minority as you do not have a mandate from the people of Perak to form a government. How do you know you have a majority in the House, since the 3 independents are not subject to BN's party whip? What was the vote count? How could Ganesan be appointed speaker when the House proceedings had not even begun? Consequently Ganesan had no authority to act. Who were the people who removed Mr Speaker, Siva Kumar? What authority did they have to enter the House. You have reduced the state of Perak to a banana state.
Is this a sign of what we can expect under Najib's administration? Are we heading towards becoming a banana state? Mahatir trampled on the independence of the judiciary and we did nothng. We are still paying the price for that as UMno now controls the judiciary with the appointment of their own legal adviser as Chief Justice, despite his tainted past including his admission to bribing court officials. They have now started ursurping the rights of the legislative assemblies to ensure control. If that's not a road leading towards absolute dictatorship I don't know what is.
Who is now going to want to invest in Malaysia. With th capital crunch the world is facing thare is stiff competition for investment funds, Will anyone risk investing scarce capital in Najib's Malaysia? Let see now if anyone is going to invest in Perak. The silver state might be demoted to a bronze state. |

Zambry had been using the police and the state goverment secretariat from the very beginning... Let alone of using the Sultan by taking an oath as MB went an MB is still in place. This Zambry is using oath taking as his weopon. he should be getting the mandate from the rakyat to show tha he is the majority. the Sulatan is "above politic" he cannot complete the loop. Secondly, the deputy speaker can only carry out the function of the speaker when the speaker is not at the assembly. This is a blatant abuse of law when you ask the deputy speaker to to carry out the job of a speaker and tabling motions that have been rejected by the speaker.
All in all you are a loser. No amount of talks by you and your cohorts is going to convince right thinking Malaysians that this is a legitimate proceeding. I really feel ashamed of being a Perakian today. The leaders of my State showed off the unruly manner,shouted vulgar words ,resorted to violence ,the State's DUN intruded by power from the federal,the police transgressed the principle of separation of power of our legislature,and even forcibly dragged my Speaker out of the DUN and illegally kept him in confinement for 1 hour,our officers of the legislature acted so unprofessionally and disgracefully,the YB ADUNs blatantly disregarded the rules of laws and resorted to violence, we now have 2 chief ministers,2 Speakers and 2 govts,and worse still,once the pride of the state, Azlam Shah ,the Sultan and the conscience of his state, couldnot ,to the disappointment of the great majority, benevolently accede to the wish of his subjects by dissolving the DUN to break the political impasse . ALL in my state, including the ADUNs who wrangled in the DUN, feel so helpless ,depressed and at a loss ,not knowing what to do. And yet, the key to the solution, THE SULTAN is so impassive and impathetic to our sufferings and anguish. How long do we have to suffer this humiliation as PERAKIANS infront of the rest of fellow Malaysians and the world besides,the hardship imposed on us by the economic recession ? May I ask the Sultan, najib and YB ADUNs !!!!!!!????

I totally agree with you Zambry....but look back on 8th March 2008. The rakyat voted 31 seats for PR and 28 BN. Simple maths will tell you who got the majority - its PR31 vs BN28. Then the 3 immoral "kataks" became independent but friendly to BN. Meaning the score is PR28 vs BN28 vs IND3. So by simple Maths again your BN party still do not have the simple majority.
As Tun Dr Mahathir put it..all you should have done is go to the State Assembly and call for a vote of no confidence on the MB since you "might" have 31 vs 28. Now we have 1 MB + 1 "appointed" MB + 1 Speaker + 1 "Appointed" MB.
If BN is trusted that they have majority, then need to follow proper procedure to selected new MB and Speaker. An "appointed" MB should not be in place before the state assembly meeting.
Who show their power and wild action from calling the assembly meeting, limiting the reporters, block the roads, pass few resuolutions in one of the conner in state assembly (worse than gathering under the tree".. are all in the eyes of all Perakians. |
