McLaren has been designing and co-producing sports cars for the past 20 years, starting with the McLaren F1 in 1992. The carmaker has since solidified its reputation with unique GT models produced in conjunction with Mercedes.
McLaren’s new projects and latest models will be on display at the Paris Motor Show (Mondial de l’Automobile de Paris).
Earlier this year, McLaren showed off its impressive MP4-12C Spider (625hp) model, a convertible version of the MP4-12C supercar that boasts outstanding performance. With a top speed of 328km per hour, the speedster only needs 3.1 seconds to reach 100km per hour and nine seconds to get to 200km per hour.
The new McLaren MP4-12C Spider is already available to order for US$195,500 (RM606,000); the first cars are due to be shipped some time in 2013.
The Paris Motor Show runs from September 29 to October 14. — AFP-Relaxnews
