This new model brings together Nismo motorsports technology, developed by Nissan’s competition and performance division in Japan, with the current design of the Nissan Juke. Of note is unique new aerodynamic bodywork and 18-inch alloy wheels which are designed to enhance the vehicle’s on-road performance. The Juke Nismo also features a turbocharged 1.6l direct-injected engine.
The interior features reworked steering column, pedals, gauges, gear shift and door lining, emphasising the sporty feel. Special Nismo sports seats in leather add to the overall competition design.
The Juke Nismo will be available in Europe starting in January 2013 and the US and Japan later in the year. Nissan will provide further technical specifications on the model closer to its retail release date. — AFP-Relaxnews
