Enter letter-writing contest and get marks for co-curricular activities

KUALA LUMPUR, May 21 — Students who participate in the 1 Malaysia Letter Writing Contest 2012 will receive 10 per cent of the marks for co-curricular activities. 

Education Ministry Co-Curriculum and Art Division assistant director Cik Siti Khadijah Mion said it was agreed that the marks would be given to reward students who take part in the contest. 

The contest, which began on April 1 and ends on June 15, is open to all students from Standard Three to Form Five. Prize money amounting to RM30,000 in the form of premium savings certificates awaits the winners. 

The contest is jointly organised by Pos Malaysia Berhad and the Malaysian Communication and Multimedia Commission, with the co-operation of the Information Communication and Culture Ministry and the Education Ministry. — Bernama
