KL police facilities to benefit from projects worth RM564 million
KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 1 — Eleven projects worth about RM564 million, aimed at boosting police facilities in the capital, have been completed or are in various stages of implementation.
Logistics Department director Datuk Zulkifli Abdullah said projects, which were already in place were the Sri Petaling police station, Bukit Jalil police station, an additional building for the Police Training Centre (Pulapol) and the Travers police station, worth a total of RM76 million.
He said five projects were still under construction, namely, the RM64 million Sentul police headquarters, Hartamas police station (RM25 million), an additional building for communications at Pulapol (RM18 million), an additional building for the Kuala Lumpur contingent police headquarters (RM30 million) and Cheras police headquarters (RM46 million).
Zulkifli said this to reporters after visiting the Tasik Permaisuri Ramadan Bazaar here today. — Bernama
