KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 21 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak tonight advised Malaysian students abroad to study hard and manage themselves well in order to contribute towards the nation’s success.

“My fellow students abroad, you are the country’s junior ambassadors. Study hard and manage yourselves well to help your country succeed,” he tweeted at about 10.30pm.

Last Sunday, during a simultaneous video conference with students and embassies in five countries, at Seri Perdana in Putrajaya, Najib (picture) advised Malaysian students abroad to study hard in order to help the country succeed.

He said that as junior ambassadors, Malaysians, especially students and officers at embassies, must portray the nation’s success and uniqueness abroad.

The 45-minute conference was held in conjunction with Aidilfitri and covered Jakarta (Indonesia), Canberra (Australia), London (the United Kingdom), Beijing (China) and Tokyo (Japan). — Bernama
