ALF’s UFO headed for landing on silver screen

LOS ANGELES, Aug 12 — Sony Pictures Animation has landed the rights to “ALF”, based on the hit comedy series of the ‘80s, according to “The Hollywood Reporter”.

Jordan Kerner, who worked on “The Smurfs” in 2011, is in charge of supervising the production of the movie version of “ALF”. Paul Fusco and Tom Patchett, the creators of the show, will also be involved, according to “The Hollywood Reporter”.
