The service to Serbia’s capital Belgrade will start on November 20 and will run with a frequency of three times a week via Ankara, Turkey. The service to Warsaw, Poland’s capital and one of the oldest cities in Europe, will begin on December 5 and will operate four times a week.

Both services will operate from Qatar Airways’s Doha hub with an Airbus configured in two classes — 12 seats in Business and 132 in Economy.

Earlier this year the airline started flying to other European capitals such as Baku, Azerbaijan; Zagreb, Croatia; and Tbilisi, Georgia. Other recent additions to the airline’s portfolio include Kigali, Rwanda; Erbil and Baghdad, Iraq; Perth, Australia; and Kilimanjaro in Tanzania.

Over the next few months the airline is also launching new routes to Yangon, Myanmar (October 3), Maputo, Mozambique (October 31) and Chicago (April 10). — AFP-Relaxnews
