Ziarah Sahur programme to promote culture and arts development
KOTA KINABALU, July 20 — The Ziarah Sahur programme could help to boost the development of domestic culture, said Local Government and Housing Assistant Minister, Datuk Ghulam Haidar Khan Bahadar.
He said the programme could serve as a platform to bring together the leaders and people in order to foster better relationship between them.
“All people should support events organised under the programme which include various activities that could serve as a platform to develop noble culture and create a strong sense of belonging among the people,” he said in his speech at the programme launching, here today.
The programme is organised by the Sabah Culture and Arts Department.
Ghulam Haidar said the programme expected to be a channel to inculcate noble values in the society through collaboration and unity at the community level. — Bernama
