Ambrin reappointed Auditor-General

Ambrin has been given a one-year extension as Auditor-General.
KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 16 — Tan Sri Ambrin Buang has been reappointed Auditor-General for a year with effect from February 23.

In a statement today, Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Mohd Sidek Hassan said the Yang di-Pertuan Agong has consented to the reappointment.

Ambrin was first appointed Auditor-General for a two-year term from February 23, 2006 to February 22, 2008.

He was subsequently reappointed for two more two-year terms, with the last one expiring on February 23 this year.
