Campus election best platform for students to show maturity, says Khaled
"Campus election exposes students to the general election process found in countries that practice democracy. It indirectly give students the opportunity to show maturity in choosing leaders and show to outsiders that it can be properly held," he told reporters after launching the "New Straits Times (NST) - Peugeot Design Competition" here today. Mohd Khaled said several campuses will hold their election on September 20 and 25.
"One campus does not specify the election date as the diploma students will be sitting for their examination this month," he said.
NST and Nasim Sdn Bhd, the official distributor of Peugeot in Malaysia, today launched "NST-Peugeot Design Competition" to give students the opportunity to showcase their talent in automotive design. The competition runs until May 2013 and is open to all university, college and secondary school students in Malaysia. — Bernama
