China President ends visit to Malaysia, flies off to Bali for APEC meet – Bernama

China's President Xi Jinping today ended his three-day state visit to Malaysia.

Xi, wife Peng Liyuan and the Chinese delegation departed for Bali, Indonesia at 2pm for the 21st Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation forum leaders meeting.

Present to see him off at the Bunga Raya Complex, Kuala Lumpur International Airport were Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Anifah Aman and Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr S. Subramaniam.

Earlier, Xi held a meeting with former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad in the national capital.

Among the Chinese president's programmes during the visit were a meeting with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak, attending a state banquet with Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah and a Malaysia-China Economic Summit, and meeting the Chinese community in Malaysia. – Bernama, October 5, 2013.
