Couple with four children held for drug trafficking
KUANTAN, Aug 2 — Police arrested a married couple in their 30s, suspected of trafficking drugs, at a house in Taman Lee Man, Raub, last Tuesday.
Raub police chief Supt Wan Mohd Samsudin Wan Osman said a police team raided the house at 12.30am and seized 221.2 grammes of heroin and 170 Eramine 5 pills estimated at RM4,500.
“Both had no previous criminal record but the man tested positive for drugs while his wife did not,” he said today.
“It is believed that he obtained his supply from Kuala Lumpur and with this arrest we have crippled a local drug syndicate,” he added.
