KUALA TERENGGANU, Feb 6 – For those who are into “keropok lekor,” or fish chips, they will soon be able to enjoy it and fight old age at the same time.
According to a Bernama report, the Yayasan Pembangunan Keluarga of Terengganu, in collaboration with Sidratul Corporation Sdn Bhd, will produce the fish chips laced with local herbs which are believed to have youth-preserving properties.
The foundation’s chief executive officer, Azmi Razik, said the project was aimed at promoting the fish chips in the international market. He added that the multi-flavoured chips would be available by the middle of this year.
“The chips will have Tongkat Ali, Kacip Fatimah and Majakani as well as other herbs,” he said after the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the two entities today.
