Manis FM to be source of info for east coast

KUALA TERENGGANU, June 14 —Manis FM, owned by the state government, will be the latest medium for people in the state as well as the east coast to get the latest and current information on what is happening in the state.

Terengganu Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Said said the radio station will also provide numerous interesting religious and entertainment programmes from time to time, most of which will be sponsored by the private sector. 

“We will set a date for the official launch of Manis FM in the near future,” he said after visiting the radio station at the Epic Building here today. 

Also present during the visit was the general manager of Manis FM, Mahari Abdul Rahman.

Prior to this, Manis FM was run by Husa Network Sdn Bhd, owned by an individual, at Lorong Manis, Jalan Sultan Yahya Petra, Kelantan. It was bought by the state government for RM9 million. — Bernama
