MIC: Candidates only announced after Parliament dissolves
KUALA LUMPUR, April 14 — Datuk Seri G Palanivel said MIC’s candidates in the next general election will only be submitted for approval after Parliament’s dissolution.
According to Bernama, Palanivel said the list will be sent to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, but he did not state if the list was ready.
Palanivel made the statement at a BN Juara Rakyat programme in Cheras today. He also expressed confidence that BN would make a bigger political impact due to increased support from the Malays and Indians under Najib’s leadership.
