Najib chairs Umno supreme council meeting
KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 20 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak chaired a meeting of the Umno Supreme Council at the party headquarters at Menara Dato' Onn, here today.
Najib, who is also Umno president, arrived at the Menara Dato' Onn at 3pm before going up to the 39th floor, the venue of the meeting.
Also present at the monthly meeting were Umno secretary-general, Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor, and other members of the Supreme Council.
The meeting received wide coverage from the print and electronic media with pressmen beginning to gather at the Umno building as early as 2pm. — Bernama
