Nazri willing to step aside for new blood in coming GE
ALOR GAJAH, April 14 — Datuk Seri Mohamed Nazri Aziz said today that he was willing to make way for a new candidate in his constituency and voluntarily step aside for the next general election.Bernama quoted the Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department as saying,"I leave the matter to the prime minister but I have served as minister for 13 years, as deputy minister for five years, and I am already 58 years old.”
The Padang Rengas MP (picture) said this at the annual general meeting of Umno branches in the Alor Gajah division here today.
