Police tracking last robbery suspect

KOTA BARU, Feb 12 – Kelantan police are appealing to the public for information on the whereabouts of an accomplice to the three men who were shot dead in a robbery case at Sungai Sam, Kuala Krai, on Feb 3.  

Kelantan CID chief ACP Lai Yong Heng said the suspect, known as Ahmad Faizan Hassan, 25, from Kampung Lepan Anjong Stong, Dabong, Kuala Krai, was believed to have been wounded in the crossfire that day. 

“We urge all clinics to contact investigating officer Insp Mohd Fairus Rosli @ 017-9551083 or the nearest police station if this suspect seeks treatment with them,” he said in a statement, here today.  

In the 11 am incident on Feb 3, the four men robbed a clerk of RM50,000 as he was walking out of a bank in Kuala Krai and took him along when they escaped.

Three of the suspects were shot dead by police in the Kuala Krai area on the same day and two days later.  – Bernama
