Policeman hit by ‘Mat Rempit’ dies
KLANG, June 8 — Traffic policeman Mustaghni Tabri, who was badly injured during an operation last Sunday against illegal motorcycle racers here, died today.
Corporal Mustaghni, 48, died at 11.45am at the Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital, said Selangor Chief Police Officer Datuk Tun Hisan Tun Hamzah.
Mustaghni was severely injured in the head after a motorcycle carrying two illegal racers (Mat Rempit) crashed into him and the pillion rider hit him on the back of the head with a helmet during the police operation in Jalan Bunga Raya, Taman Gembira here last Sunday. — Bernama
