PUTRAJAYA, Feb 22 — The Election Commission (EC) has announced that media personnel will be able to register as postal voters, The Star Online reported this evening.

EC chairman Tan Sri Abdul Aziz Yusof was quoted by the portal as saying the “very positive move” is based on provisions in the law that allow media practitioners to be registered as such.

He added that the EC will inform the parliamentary select committee on electoral reforms of its decision at a meeting next week.
