Scrap metal operator stabbed to death

KUALA LUMPUR, June 12 — A scrap metal business operator died after he was stabbed by a group of men near his shop in Taman Seri Murni Jinjang yesterday. 

Kuala Lumpur CID chief Datuk Ku Chin Wah said the victim, identified as R. Sivanesan, 36, was attacked and stabbed by 15 to 20 men who came in four or five cars. 

“The motive of the incident is still being investigated,” he said.

Ku, however, declined to comment further on the incident, including the time of the incident, only saying it took place yesterday evening. — Bernama
