Semi-nude female corpse found in Rawang
KUALA LUMPUR, July 6 — A body of an unidentified woman, with injuries on several parts of the body, was found by passers-by near a factory at Jalan Rawang, Batu Arang, Rawang near here yesterday.
Gombak District Police Chief ACP Abd Rahim Abdullah said the victim, a local in her 30s, was clad in a red collared T-shirt with her jeans pulled down.
“There were injuries on her forehead, under her lips and nose, believed to have been caused by a blunt object, and also bruises on the neck,” he told Bernama here yesterday.
He believed the victim was killed elsewhere and the body dumped near the factory.
Police did not find any personal documents on belongings on the victim, but did discover a lighter, comb, hair clip and a pair of men’s underwear near the body, he said.
He said the body was sent to Sungai Buloh Hospital for a post mortem. — Bernama
