KUALA TERENGGANU, Jan 12 — Two 30-storey skyscrapers at the mouth of Terengganu River here will be completed in two years, and become “majestic landmarks for the city”.
Terengganu Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Said said so today to Bernama Online.
One tower will be an apartment building, while the other will be Kuala Terengganu City Council’s headquarters.
The state capital presently does not have skyscrapers.
Ahmad also took the opportunity to warn landowners to pay their quit rent or face action.
He added that some accounts have been outstanding for more than 10 years, therefore risking the seizure of their land.
