Streamline efforts, Sabah CM tells Islamic missionaries

Musa said the Islamic missionary efforts should use the latest technology. — File picSANDAKAN, June 30 — Islamic missionary bodies and institutions in Sabah should plan and coordinate their missionary activities to ensure their smooth implementation, Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman said today.

He said it was crucial for them to ensure the message reached the targeted group.

“This includes taking account the involvement of youths in activities that interest them,” he said when opening a seminar on Islamic missionary here.

He said programmes that were carried out should not focus only on Islamic teachings, but also with activities that made the quest for knowledge a culture.

Towards this end, an effective approach and the latest technology should be used, he added. — Bernama
